i said "My bad thresh" to the thresh support because i got him killed. the "muted" and "stop crying" were to enemy team for banter. I did nothing toxic. and honestly, thats really just on the bridge of toxicity if it were directed to my team. I dont even remember my team doing bad that game because i was so focused on winning. after looking back on the match history, yeah their scores were bad. but before i had looked back i didn't think about them as bad at all, and neither did i talk to them as such. they were teammates. WITH context, i was not toxic, and even without toxic i was very mild.

You think that a new game that was hyped up getting 20 million players is impressive? Its not gonna poof out of existence but thats not that impressive.

LoL has 60-70 million unique players monthly.

And i guarentee not all of that 20 million came from league, and not everyone who plays league that did change to fortnight stopped playing League.

A new game being popular doesn't automatically constitute another game dying.

Fortnite isn't killing League.

dude that is in one month following the battle royal mode; Leauge of legends says they have over 100 million players but everyone i played with had like 5 fucking accounts.

League of legends again, has 60-70 million unique players monthly.

I just read something the other day about how steam had to clean up their stats on PC specs because Internet cafes in China were over hyping intel because "unique" stats were coming from the same computers from each user.

Oh and that article is over two months old on how many players; they released it in september; so.....yeah, that many players in that short of a time frame? lol, you dont know anything about games do you? They still dont have a "TOTAL amount of players" reported but they do have concurrent players.

On top of that, there is no need for anyone in the game to make secondary accounts because it isnt ban heavy "yet" Like I said, almost everyone I duo or team with had 5 other accounts that could be counted as "unique". No one in my local area that I know doesnt even play this anymore on top of that.

Ive played this since 2009; I think I know when a game is going to be huge and one is going to fall if they don't change something.

The game was not built for battle royale, the part of the game that was intentional isnt even complete yet, its in beta.

You do if you have a brain. All you have to do is see that they are still playing more matches. If all they got is a chat restriction then that should create some outrage considering the number of people who get banned for one naughty word or just by saying "report" three times.

I've had people wish cancer to me and my whole family and hope they die a slow death in 3 out of my last 20 games, they got no penalty rofl.

I actually do have a way of knowing, since I got no instant feedback system report, which means nobody got penalized. And hey, even if they did, they only got a chat ban, because they keep on playing games to this day. To me, this type of behavior should be followed with a permanent ban. There is no excuse for it and no need to keep such a player in the community, which is why I say that the penalty system is a fucking joke.

The ifs report is not a common occurence.
And it doesnt matter what you think the punishment should be, what matters is what Riot decides to assign them.

Every time someone gets penalized and was reported by you, you will get a report message by the IFS. Now, to your second points, sure Riot decides how to hand out penalties, which is why I'm calling them out saying that they are a trash company and their punishment methods are bullshit.

Considering that's the kind of extreme tox that should pull a 2 week ban, if they are still playing games a day after the report, it is highly likely that no, they did not receive a penalty. The extreme filter is quite limited. "kys" will get you an instaban, but "kill your self" will not.

I did report them, and it was in game. I'd give you a replay, but Riot in their infinite wisdom has declined to capture chat in replays.

I just had someone feed 20 kills running it down lane all game because their champion was banned, and they aren't banned. All they have to do is throw out in chat that they were having a bad game and they are shielded from any and all punishment, even if they do it for 100 games in a row.

But if they were to ever say something in chat to suggest it was on purpose, then they might get banned. Might.

Riots system is a joke.

Where did you get that number? I did a basic google search and I couldn't find it. Heck couldn't find any source newer than 2013 on what percent of players have been banned.

I apologize i made a mistake. Im not sure where i got .07%, but after rechecking the info did not come from Tantram and the number is actually .006% for permas. Ill try to find the source.

The problem here isn't whether or not i was punished before, which, by the way, a 14 day ban indicates either FIRST PUNISHMENT or UNPUNISHED FOR A DECENT PERIOD OF TIME, the problem is i was banned for nothing. Quite frankly, you're annoying. and you need to get help in the head if you think this is right. if i did get a chat restriction, it hasn't been for a while. i had honor lvl 4.

Quite frankly, telling someone they need help in the head for not mindlessly believing you doesnt help your case.

And a 14day ban does not indicate a first punishment, that would typically be a 10 game chat ban.

You do not go down in teirs and i fully believe you have been chat banned before this.

You were likely repeatedly reported until this happened.

Acchieving honor level 4 isn't as big an achievement nor as proper an indicator as you make it out to be.

I'm not being hard headed and I went against you because you started spouting baseless nonsense about the game dying as well as attacking and insulting the staff of riot games with no actual justification. If you believe you were improperly banned you submit a ticket. You dont insult the company on the forums.

a) you were either saying TEARS or TIERS not TEIRS, teirs isn't a word. b) The game is dying c) i'm not saying honor level 4 is a big achievement you child, I"M SAYING THAT THERE WAS NO CHAT RESTRICTION BEFOREHAND BECAUSE YOU CANNOT RECEIVE HONOR LVL DURING OR AFTER A CHAT RESTRICTION. I have submitted a ticket, however knowing riot, and how their company is, this ban will be valid in their eyes. even though, as you can see, it is completely INVALID. I insult them because they deserve it, and even as i follow their guidelines on keeping those thoughts to myself do i still get punished over something like this. WHICH by the way, is on THEIR end not mine.

Yes. I got a 10-day chat ban after i lost it on an intentional feeder. I accepted i was wrong and dealt with it.

I got out of 0 in 5 days.

It doesn't take long.

You could potentially have over a year. let alone if it happened before the system was introduced.

The judgment comes from an automated system that scans your chatlog for certain words/phrases and punishes you based solely off of that with no context whatsoever.

Its an script; It doesn't "detect" anything; Most likely, when a report is made, it looks through the chat log for key phrases that employees input such as "%%%" or "bitch" it doesnt even need to be a real statement, all it takes is to say one word for no reason and it automatically finds fault.
