How many honors do you need for ribbons ? I wish it would be clear because I have a total of 62 friendly 40 helpful 190 teamwork and 124 honorable opponent. If there is a system I am not aware about please leave it in the comments! Thank you.
Ribbons are not gained over the total of honorary distinctions awarded. You need to be honored for a specific thing consistently for say 10 games for example , where you need to be constantly awarded the honor from multiple players. And no, you cannot cheese your way out of this , premade votes do not count AT ALL. So your only option available is to actually be a great human being.
It's an ever-shifting and inconsistent target. I had a Leader (Friendly + Teamwork) ribbon for ages, then lost it despite the fact I was getting honored more or less as frequently as I was before. It's highly dependent on getting people who are willing to honor someone else, and I don't think there's anyone outside of Riot that truly understands how it works.
In short, while not the primary thing that decides whether you get a ribbon or not luck plays a significant secondary role in it.
