Tips on dealing with a certain type of troll

People who can't handle the game & gave up on it, but choose to troll by feeding on purpose as hard as they can rather than at least leaving. Normally this is one scenario where 1 player can often completely crush his own team's chances.

I figured I'd ask if anyone has any ideas on how to stop them or win the game despite them?

Unfortunately league is a team game and it's very hard to win when missing a single person, let alone when they intentional feed the enemy. The only real ways to win here are to be just that much better than them or try and create a crushing lead and close the game early on because the longer the game goes the more that last person matters and the less your gold leads mean.

Best I got is to use the troll as bait. Follow the troll, wait for the enemy to blow their cooldowns to burst the troll down, and jump their asses. shrug

The best way to deal with it in any mode other than ranked is to just start trolling as well. Try to turn the annoying troll into a chance to have fun. The worst thing you can do is to complain about it to said troll. Thats what they want, a reaction. Often times you can get the other team to turn the game into a fiesta at which point even the original troll sees the game is now winnable because its 45 minutes in and everyone has full builds. For ranked, idk, i usually mute all until i hit gold and then never play again until next season lol.

Really all you can do is play as hard as you can and hope to win, and know that statistically, this is more of an anamoly than anything. Sure /certain/ ranks seem to be more anamolous than others but all you can do, is grin and bear it. Don't counter flame, int, talk, just mute them and try to do your best. It will test you, but if you think about it compared to "Real life" shit like that is gonna happen.

You're gonna have feeders in your life, you just gotta deal with it.
