How is it fair to get suspended for flaming a troll?

So yeah, i recently got suspended for 25 games for flaming trolls. I'm not talking about players who simply have a bad game. Because of this idiotic "autofill", as an ADC main i have to deal with tons of people who won't simply quit the game when they get a support, but rather pick zed/yasuo/Darius etc. Now, by any means i am not negative towards those supports. I never flame them for choosing those champions, because I myself have some unorthodox picks. The problem starts when they start taking my CS, which is very common with those "autofill" supports. Don't i have a right to be pissed off about it, when a guy clearly does everything for us to lose a game? isn't that trolling? In my second game, a guy got pissed off about me not engaging in a 2v2 fight ( i did not do it because the enemies already reached lvl 2, while we were both still lvl 1), so he decided he will start trolling (letting me die on purpose, using skills in random directions). My suggestion is for riot to either remove this idiotic autofill from LoL, or leave alone the people who get annoyed with trolls.

flaming a troll

Give me reasons how does flaming even help at all?

Riot has a strict, "Don't flame" policy.

There is no, "unless X" tacked on the end. Trying to contrive and investigate each person's reasons why they flamed would take forever and a half. No, it's much easier to understand and judge when each person is responsible for their behavior regardless of other's behavior.

Because each person is responsible for their own behavior.

The answer to your question can be found in the title.

How is it fair to get suspended for flaming

Whatever you follow the word "flaming" with, the answer is the same. It is fair. Don't flame, and you won't get summoner 11 ed

You are accountable for your actions and your choices. What someone else did to cause you to fly off the handle is irrelevant, and its not a justification for breaking rules you knew existed.

How is it fair? Well, it is breaking the rules so punishing the rule breaker like every other rule breaker is the very definition of fair.

Your question paraphrased to what matters is "How is it fair to get suspended for breaking the rules?" which you can see is an utterly ludicrous question.

I am not sure why flaming would even be what someone would want to do in that situation, it will NEVER change the trolls behavior and only ensures an even greater chance of you losing due to it. At that point your team has two trolls, one of them being you.

I remember that time I started flaming and then troll saw the errors of their days and immediately began playing the correct way, and now we're best friends. /s

Post your chat logs, if you feel what you said was right. Chat logs do show innocence :D

I can understand that it is hard to not get annoyed when someone decides that they would rather troll than make the best of an unfavorable situation.

The problem here is that you were flaming.

I'm sorry, but troll or no, flaming does not help the situation, and you are responsible for YOUR actions, not theirs.

If you had not flamed them, reporting them will cause them to be punished, and not you.
