Question: Why some people so serious over normal games?

I m not saying troll in normal games but normals are for fun and practice .. we try new things in normals and when we die they say report this feeder I played whole Season 5 ranked games picking true supports and played everyone game in stress tbh .. i m just gold player but still it was a stress for me to play in ranked games and the season is over now .. waiting for provisional games to start new season so playing normals these days but it is not fun anymore

I just played a normal game .. our team trist and sion were tilted on me because i picked tf sup which i know is not a sup champ ofc i was sup main s5 but sion was asking for reports to enemy team and they were like we deserve competitive match ..

now tell me do we deserve Reports over a normal game? and how can a troller make to gold? and if u guys need competitive match why not play ranked flex?

Like what Frost said, but also you just have.... Tryhards. Ive met some really mumble grumble tryhards, but normally if you say something like "anyone mind if i go nami mid?" for example which i have done, and people were like "idc, its normals, do what you want" which is the general consensus of most of my teams lol

I have had a yasuo that went top try making comments about me going blitz mid..... They were like "grabbing someone in mid lane is literally impossible" Etc etc. Anyways, they went along with it, they were vs renekton, i was vs twisted fate..... Didnt grab much in mid but i dont normally if they are decent at all. On the otherhand, after we were losing game, i was sitting there going around and assassinating people every 20 seconds or so. Full archangel staff, lich bane, void staff, boots of swiftness, deathcap, and ludins echo. Lets just say....... Unless it was renekton.... One hook and the enemy was dead. 26/6/13.

Anyways, moral of the story there is even though its off meta, doesnt mean it wont work. Tf support i have seen work. Mundo support ive seen work. Yes ask if anyone minds if you are just trying it, or atleast ask the adc since they are having to lane with you..... But ive found most of the time they say "yeah sure, thats fine, whatever" they are more likely to think your troll picking if you just pick and lock. Which then just causes headaches for you.

Some people only play normals. It's them really. The problem lies in you picking TF support during preseason.

During preseason people who only play normals end up with a short fuse for awkward picks since they literally can't play any semblance of a real game since the ranked players are constantly out trolling/playing around in "normals." The amount of troll picks per game goes up and the frustration adds up over many games.

That's probably part of the reason they're trying a shorter preseason this year.

preseason normals = season ranked preseason ranked = season normals

Yeah, because of tryhards it's pretty hard to do anything remotely off meta unless you're in a full 5... which usually means you'll be matched up against 5 tryhards "practicing" for 5 man flex queue.

All of League of Legends is for fun, barring people who are in the competitive or streaming scenes (or seriously aiming to get there). If you're not having fun playing ranked, then it's a waste of your free time.

If you're communicating with your team, then a nonmeta pick is viable in normals or ranked. If you're not communicating with your team effectively, then that same pick make be seen as toxic, in both normals and ranked. Intentional feeding, rage quitting, and flaming aren't okay in normals, either.

Because fun and practice don't mean I should put up with your inability to play better than a beginner bot.
