I know that I've gotten chat restricted a couple of times, and a short ban for toxicity. But how come I can't earn chests? It's been a while since any sort of ban (At least a month), will I ever be able to get chests/key fragments? If not (or if so), can I get some explanation as to why?
I'm pretty sure that if you got a ban recently(1 week-2 months), then you have to wait at least a season or so(9 months-1 year) to participate in things involving good behaviour, similar to Ranked borders. If you misbehaved in a season, then you could not get a ranked border for that season. This is because Riot wants to reward being a saint, ergo never playing negative, with this. I'm supposing that Riot wants to have a confirmation that you're reformed, so they restrict you from rewards for XXX amount of time. It's like a criminal record that you carry around.
These are just my thoughts though, correct me if I'm wrong.
