Why am i getting troll banned

I just got a 10 game chat restriction after a game in which a player <Removed by Moderation> troll banned my first pick and took my other champion which didn't fit his role (keep in mind I'm low level and only had so many champion options), and another player actually literally ran it down and said in chat that he was was inting, both on my team. My question how i got chat restricted yet haven't received a notice saying a recent report has been blah blah blah? And why riot keeps this players choose toxic behavior when it seems abused in my opinion. Your pregame chat is already bad.

Your first lines of chat in game are nwgative and such.

Could u not mute all and.play?

reports can stack up and you'll eventually get punished if you had too many reports stacked against you. With that said you did verbally harass your teammates even though you were the victim. Riot encourages people to just mute and report. They don't want you to retaliate but if you do, they don't want you to repeatedly say "report (insert name)" a bunch of times or say " f you kid" and etc. In your case though, I can see why you're angry and I think that you shouldn't be punished. Send a ticket and see what support thinks. Their zero policy rule can be absurd sometimes
