hello, i am wondering if anyone else has gotten hacked or something along the lines, because sometimes after a game someone else trys to log into my account and it notifies me then kicks me off. i am the account creator and owner, but somehow when i try to change my password, it has someone elses email adress so i dont get anything. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.
LostFr0st1 votesYou can check and change which e-mail is registered at the top of this page. As for securing your account, the player support team should be able to help you out.
Submit a request here https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/requests/new under "I need help recovering my account" and fill out everything you can as best you can.
They will go over it to confirm that you're the account owner and help you to stop the other person from accessing the account.
Note: It is normal for the account to be locked for a bit while going through this procedure to protect it from the other person, just relax and wait for their response to your ticket.
BD Dark Noodle1 votesim on my account, no one has changed anything like the password, but they have changed the email. and i have already filled out one of the apps for the support group. just panicking because i have spent a decent amount of money on the account, and i don't want to lose it.
LostFr0st1 votesDon't panic, you're in good hands :) It's worth the 2 days. That particular form makes sure the response ends up in your e-mail too (since you need to be logged out to fill it out) and it doesn't leave a visible ticket record on the support page.
Also, before that, do a virus/malware/spyware scan if you can to make sure they aren't re-snatching your info every time you enter it or change it from something they stuck onto your computer.

DrCyanide1 votesWhen you get it back, do yourself a favor and don't use the same password for it and anything else. That's what most like caused this situation.

DrCyanide1 votesWhat normally happens in cases like this is someone uses the same password and username on multiple websites. One of those websites doesn't secure their passwords correctly, has their passwords stolen, and the thief just plugs that username + password combination in everywhere they can.

Magical Player1 votesIf your account email has changed, that means they had access to your email. Which would mean your email would have received an email of information change Check to see if that email exists(it may have been trashed) also be sure to change your passwords on alot of your accounts

This happened to me too on this account. I was logged into forum so I can still type here but I can't get into my account to play and the email which I can see but not change, without the password whoever stole my account changed. I tried posting here but so far all riot has done is delete one of my posts about it.
