I got a 14 day game suspension because trolls, me and my friend mess around alot in chat and we let the team know that, most of the time we just mute the team or have them mute us, one of our "friends" took the liberty of reporting us every single game even tho we were never flaming if we were being flamed we just mute the player( 90% of the time we're on discord anyways) but with that and people in bronze telling everyone to report players for no reason ( except to troll) this hurts others I would post a chat log but there is none, so why do I deserve a ban? Riots system is broken, and I know for a fact im not the only one that has this problem, people reporting others for no reason. Literally 19-20 games I have someone screaming in chat saying report him or report them even tho they don't do anything, but because multiple people report this said player they get bans, I am 1 of 10 people on my friends list that have experience this multiple times a week) the chat ban isn't bad because I always use discord if not I mute everyone, so I can have fun, but when it leads to being banned of playing that's just rediculous.

Save your goofing around for the discord chat, no need to include the randoms in your bullshitting, especially if you may accidentally offend them. No matter what your intentions are, people will still get offended from time to time.

Well when trolls, you, and your friends mess around in chat, you're bound to get punished at some point. I mean, come on. Why do you think in game, where people are trying to win, is a good time to mess around and be trolly? People take this shit serious man. That's just the way it is, and Riot caters to those who are serious about the game because that's kind of the point of the game. They can't say "oh it's okay. It's just a video game, they can mess around all they want".

You gotta keep in mind, we don't know you. We don't know your intentions when you're "messing around". We aren't in your head. You have to recognize that some people automatically assume you're being a douchebag if you say goofy, trolly things in chat. Then the IFS checks the report for validity, sees that you were messing around, and punishes you for it. I don't see the problem really. I'm one of the lucky few who rarely has trolls in his games, so maybe I'm just unfamiliar with whatever problem it is you're trying to describe. Your lack of periods and grammar made it a little hard for me to get what exactly you're saying, so I apologize if I'm off-topic.

Also, I've never been punished so I can't relate to the whole being reported falsely and still getting punished thing. I've been reported yes, but Riot throws out false reports. So again, I don't see the problem. Obviously your "friend" figured you were doing something that would get you punished, otherwise that's not much of a prank ya? So maybe you did deserve it based on someone looking from the outside, in. Again, we don't know you. We don't know your intentions. If you act like a troll, but you're only "messing around with friends" you still get punished for acting like a troll, whether you meant to ruin someone's game or not. If you chat like a troll, you get punished for chatting like a troll (whether it's toxic, or just offensive jokes).
