14 Day Ban after over a year of non-punishment.

Hello, just got banned today for 14 days for being toxic/negative. I'm not even going to try and defend myself here. Except I have a question regarding being issued 14 days. I've been suspended I'm pretty sure 1 time before for 10 games but I'm not sure about 25 games. That was well over a year ago and maybe even in Season 5. Do these things not come off after months of not being punished or anything of being toxic? I feel this is kinda unfair that it was a 14 day ban. Of course I was being toxic and kinda flaming others, but my last punishment was so long ago. Any answers on if punishments reset or anything over time?

If you're an active positive person the punishment tier can decrease(to my knowledge) However if you just stopped playing for a year then nothing changed if you were semi negative then its ramping up to next punishment if your neutral then its slow to drop

Extreme toxicity: hate speech will do it results in escalated punishments

But open a ticket to riot see if they can expand as to why the punishment increased

If you were excessively toxic then the punishment can skip right to a 2 week ban.

i dont know why but rito has banned me for 14 days 2 twice and i have never been banned from the chat (10 games-25gameschat ban).Also i've never been perma banned. WOW ευχαριστω riot

I feel you mate, i've been a sheep the entire season and just completely messed up funneling my frustration in chat those days resulting in a goodbye to ranked rewards... stay strong

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it's also determined by what kind of language you use. Like if you're racist/sexist/vulgar.
