So yesterday when I logged in, it said I've been suspended for 14 days. Before judging, please note that I was playng in a party of 4 friends. So only 1 player in my team was a stranger. If you look at the chat log, I've never directly offended them in any way or even mentioning them. My friends I was playing with are RogueX37, leoj0023, and MrCaptainBeard. The random player we got matched up with was LethaWeapon0312. Rogue was playing as zed, and we were pretending to hate and spread toxicity to eachother to make fun of the real toxic players who play specific champions. aka the stereotypes "Yasuo mains / Riven Mains" I have to admit I've been semi-toxic before from defending players or just joking around. But having this specific game's chatlog is really triggering because this was the one game where I was genuinely joking around with friends, which was 4/5 people of the team. Also I noticed my teamwork and all the other honors resetted back to 0, when I had over 100 teamwork honors....I find this very unfair, and wondering if I can earn the exact amount back if i "develop a positvie sport-manlike pattern" which I've already been.

If there is a random player on your team, then you do need to be considerate of them. There's no way for them to know if you are simply joking with your friends unless you tell them, but even they still might not appreciate language and behavior like this, and they do have every right to report you for it.

If you want to talk like this to your friends and they are okay with it, that's fine, but if there's even just one random person on your team, then you should keep that kind of talk in a voice chat like Skype or Discord.

If you want to only talk to friends, and there are strangers in the league chat that would also hear, instead use something like skype, discord, or some other chat.

I doubt the stranger appreciated that chat in their game.

The problem here is that while you could've been pretending, to pubbers, it really looked like you were toxic. That one guy saw your post, thought you were harassing someone else and reported you for it.

It might have been a good idea to mention at some point during the game to the random that the guys you were joke-toxic-talking with were friends and that it wasn's serious. Otherwise, they have no way of knowing.

Have you had a chat restriction before, or was this the first punishment for you? Some of the things you said, while joking between friends, are actually the sort of thing that can be punished fairly harshly. Specifically, calling people gay in an insulting manner is considered hate-speech and is a permabannable offense.

That one player didn't know. He thought you were being toxic for no reason and reported you. If you want to talk to your friends I recommend using things like Skype, Curse, Discord or TS3 to talk to them.

Tbh, Riot use to have a SPAM button. To me if I was trying to focus on the game and some joker thinks hes being funny spamming chat, forces me to mute you when we should be focused on the game and communicating

From what i've heard, the chatlog they send you isn't always _the _ chatlog that got you suspended, so maybe you were punished for something else but they sent you this example?

Lead by example, pretending to a be a "toxic" is still being toxic. While the majority of other's with you accept it and are okay, not everyone agrees or accepts this behavior. The most important is RIOT.

It's the same a being a fake racist, it's funny and you don't mean it, but somewhere someone MAY be offended by this behavior.

To avoid to lawsuit, RIOT has made it their business to punish those that inhibit this behavior, regardless of real or fake.

Lead by example, don't be a jerk, cause even if your kidding or joking, other's may attempt to mirror your behavior.

and based on your chat logs, thats not the only thing you were banned for.

Reform, learn from your mistakes if you are planning to continue to play.
