14 Day Ban - Reported by 30% winrate botlane duo

I was on my last game of promos. Lost the game before that due to just troll picks with a support Akali and a Draven constantly disconnecting and complaining about ping.

I lost my cool in my last game, however I was told to "kys". I'm not very sensitive and don't report others for this. However, according to this board that is a direct 14 day ban. After getting banned, I put in a ticket to report the people that got me banned since their words could just as easily deserve the same disciplinary actions.

I get told that I suck, yet these people have worse winrates than me in the silver elo hell that I play in. I was on a great run and won a long streak of games despite having terrible winrate teammates.

Moral of the story, this system is so arbitrary and doesn't punish both people at fault.

Make a ticket

if you reported them with a support ticket, there will be a delay towards their review of punishment.

  1. it needs to be forwarded to the behavioral dept

  2. the behavioral team needs to get through their backlog first. Millions of games played in a day, even if 1% of them get reported, it'll take ages a while to get through every day's reports.

  3. Even if they did punish them, you'll never know as it is against their privacy policies.

Moral of the story is that you do the crime (regardless of who started or reason) you do the time!

No, the moral of the story is if you are toxic and get reported you will get banned. If you choose not to report a toxic player they get to keep playing and continue to be toxic. Also fun fact, unless that was the first and only time they duoed the Draven and Akali weren't actually a duo.

What do winrate have to do with anything? A 100% winrate toxic player won't get punished any differently then a 15% winrate player.

Therein lies the issue. You lost your cool, regardless of how/why, you lost your cool. So you are being punished. [sg-ahri-1]
