Bronze and silver elo matchmaking ( trolls, bad players, feeders, and bad picks)

After years of playing this game, riot has done nothing to better the matchmaking of low elo teirs. Literally bronze elo and silver make up most of the ranked population but players seem to have a no chance of climbing out. Can't seem to avoid troll and feeders or at least get a team close to my skill level. Im not saying I'm pro and deserve to be plat or diamond, i just wonder how riot games allows such a cesspool of horrible players in ranked ques and seem to do nothing about it and caters the the whim of higher elo teirs, making it ever harder to climb out of low elo. I truly love playing this game sometime but enough is enough. Something has to be done.

Ranked system is pretty much crap. It's sad when the goal for 99% of Bronze/Silver players is to just grind out games all season and hopefully hit a lucky streak to get Gold V (which is basically worse than Silver I & 2 because it's so full of people with mid-silver elo who are too bad to rank up any higher, but get carried enough to avoid demotion).

The matchmaking hasn't improved at all in years, either. I took almost a two year break from this game and come back to the same crap that made me quit playing in the first place. It's no fun busting your ass, trying to reach a goal, only to have your promo series thrown by some fresh 30 in his placements. It's even less fun when you're in Silver and having to carry garbage Gold players to prove you belong in the division they are already in. Anyone who's spent any amount of time in mid to upper Silver knows exactly what I"m talking about, I'm sure. I feel like Riot leaves it this way on purpose though, as it keeps the bulk of their player base running on their little hamster wheels all season.

If they actually fixed the elo and matchmaking systems, the bulk of the player base would never get out of Bronze and the crushing hopelessness of that reality would cause many to just quit the game. Not good for business, so instead we have the RNG nightmare that is Silver, where skill disparity is pretty much the only thing you can count on every game.

Everyone has a fair chance of climbing out of bronze/silver, the only problem they face is usually not having game sense in the first place.

I'm gunna let you in on a little secret, 70% of games are carriable. I get feeders and afks and trolls you say? I have played on bronze smurfs and let me tell you I very rarely get a true troll.
