got account back from being hacked now permabanned?!?!

So i got hacked about a week ago and i finally got my account back and they gave me the link to change my password and everything. so then i go to log in for the first time and i am permabanned.. Have never had any type of restrictions on my account at all. Never got the email for why i was permabanned becuz i had to change the email my account was linked to after i got it back. So is there anyway for them to resend the email?? because im assuming whoever hacked me is the one that got the email. and no i did not share my account i have no idea how i got hacked but thats not the point. Why am i permabanned?? there is no reason..

Hey curbstomp89!

When you reached out to player support to explain that the account was compromised, the specialist temporarily locked it so that no further actions could be taken on it by the other person.

It looks like you went through the Account Recovery process with them, but they haven't lifted the lock on the account yet. I noticed you updated the ticket. Hang tight, the specialist will get back to you and release the lock on the account so you can log in.

He might of tried to sell and recover scam someone using his account, for the Rioter working with this. Just so you know this happens often and one time I tried buying an account a long time ago and this same stuff happened. Took 3 months of pestering before you guys did anything.

It's incredibly hard to hack someone's League account, damn near impossible to switch emails without your consent. There's probably a good chance here that this OP sold his account and is now crying wolf trying to scam saying he's been hacked with the recovery info.

This happened to me a little over a year ago, and it took 3 months of constant pestering to get Riot to ban the account

I hate to be the elephant in the room, but when I talked to someone pretty high up in Paypal, seems like it's an extremely common thing happening.

That's why you just don't buy accounts? If you try to buy an account, don't get sad when this stuff happens.

Don't want sympathy buddy, do you think anyone could possibly get away with my money from a silly scam that a teenager with no knowledge of the real world. No, I had my money back within days. I could literally care less, i'm just honest with myself which says a lot more about people on these boards sometimes.

Also buying accounts happens, and happens often. Scamming while selling your account is a double whammy of shitty character, as apposed to just buying an account and breaking ToS (which will get you banned anyways)

I had his situation as well but a little differently. My account wasn't really hacked though. I went to a vacation and when I came back from it I logged into my account and I saw it's permabanned. I log into my email and see those toxic words and then a letter that says "I know I was wrong and I want a 2nd chance" which I didn't write. I tried to cntact riot support but they never answered. 2 days ago I asked them if they can delete my account and I explained the whole story. Then he sent my thing to a player behavior specialist and obviously they didn't help. I never shared my email with anyone and definitely not my LoL account and I get punished for that and lost almost a 2 years old account. Can you try to assist me with my situation ?

They may have suspended the account to protect it, but even if it was banned for illegal actions performed on it they can undo it. Just submit a Support Ticket. Please refer to the Recovering My Account and Protecting My Account articles, scan your PC for viruses and malicious programs, and change your email password.

same thing happened to me except i did not get help. hacker never changed the password so i was always able to log in. But often when i logged in i had gotten chat restrictions/temp bans, but now i logged in and got perma banned. ive spent well over 100 dollars on the game and was wondering if i would be able to get unbanned? ign- jonathan9513
