eat it

hovering your champion doesn't give any special rights

maybe the person that banned your champ doesnt want the enemy to pick it?

I've banned teammates without realizing it. Heck, I've banned myself on accident before. It happens.

While there should be a better warning you're about to ban an ally hover to prevent accidental bags, I absolutely disagree that hovering a champion should in any way discourage allies from banning that champion. Down that path lies trolls and people who would exploit the support queue to force people to trade rolls with them.

Champs selected should not be banable by your own team. I agree with this. I have accidentally bannedeleted a champ on my own team a time or two and also even once banned my own champ. But really should be looked into.

Yeah I have gotten that alot, Usually by the Sheep who are trying to enforce the meta harder than NORTH KOREA. I am stronger when playing off meta champs, I prefer the strategy to adapt them to support role. But just because my pick "isnt meta" I get the pleb who bans my pick and tells me "Pick a meta support!"

Just because I am on your team, doesnt mean YOU get to decide WHAT/WHO/or HOW I play. I play legit But I am not gonna be micromanaged by some kid who thinks they know everything so spends the entire game banning his teams pick intents because they dont "conform to my gameplan"

I hate the people who don't show pick intent then troll for you banning "their" champion. That happens alot more than team bans in my experience. Also only if your first pick should your team not be able to ban your champ.

Was your pick vayne/lb/shaco/RENGAR? And were you less than first pick?

Ban it anyways. Not worth the risk.

I mean, I have accidentally banned someone's champion without realizing it. I will be looking at the team during the entire pick declare phase, so it's rare for me to accidentally ban someone on my team's champion, but it has happened, specifically when I'm first ban and someone declares after the initial pick declare phase. I've also had my champion banned on accident, and it's alright because it's a mistake. It certainly shouldn't be bannable.

However, I have also had someone on my team declare that they're taking my role, then someone on the team picking/banning my champion and then, if it wasn't the person who declared they would take the role, swapping with that person later. This kind of thing, taking/banning someone's champion intentionally for the purpose of stealing the role or stopping them from playing a champion is bad and is bannable.

No. Even worse. When u hover a champ and ur team's like I WANNA PLAY THAT CHAMP AND MY PICK IS HIGHER THAN URS. IMA STEAL IT. [slayer-jinx-unamused] [zombie-brand-facepalm] [zombie-nunu-tears]

It should warn them. The same should happen if no one has Smite.
