How does ADOLF H1TLER stay in league for so long

I played with a guy named ADOLF H1TLER today. One would think that this name would raise some red flags, but he's lvl 30, with over 100 games in silver. During the game, he asked our Annie to show him her vagina and explained that he wants to masturbate. He went on to explain that he hates Poland... I am 100 % that this is not the first and only game where he acted like this. How is it possible that he is still around? After all, this reflects quite badly on Riot. Could you do us a favor and ban this guy?

probably because its not spelled right. Adolf alone shouldnt get you banned and the 2nd part is spelled wrong possibly cirumventing the name bot

Report them for having an inappropriate name to get their name changed.

Report them for...I forget the categories...for how they talked to the Annie to get them banned.

Sometimes I wonder what restrictions there are on making names. This isn't the most surprising name I've ever seen, but certainly offensive to the point if should have never been made.

Really? Why is it offensive? Its just a name.

Yes he did bad things but it isnt a insult or slanderous.

It's certainly a name in bad taste, but it's not profanity either.

Y'all both have points, but I think the best approach here is to ban the guy for his chat behavior alone. The name is unfortunate, but...

I think there's an intersection of recency and infamy that really determines whether something is offensive. Hitler and Mao are pretty well known, but banning every killer's name? That's a stretch. Some idiot made their name after a pretty esoteric serial killer, probably thinking he'd be forced to change it. Now he's stuck with an absurd and stupid name.
