What is RIOT doing to help counteract those who are literally taking control of the pre game lobby saying that "if they don't get X roll they will afk or feed"? This has happened to me too much recently and I'm getting sick of it! 1 game I just told the bloke tough shit I got assigned mid and he then just instantly left the lobby but its a crime that goes unpunished in my opinion. So what are you doing about it?

LightSword9 votesBack before role selection, people had to accept the possibility of being placed in any role. Autofill just maintains this possibility while your chances are higher of getting a role you would choose. Even if what you say is true, and people should not be required to be able to play every role, how is demanding a role a better solution? What if the person who DID get the position they want is in the same boat.

LightSword3 votesYes, that idea still existed, no better then than now. However, if your concern is champion ownership, consider this: Ranked play wasn't made for people who just reached level 30. Maybe a number of us made the mistake of playing upon meeting the requirements, I know I did. I admit that autofill kinda sucks, but I will not stand for people being scumbags/trolls because they can't have their role of choice every time.

LightSword1 votesSo people who come in fresh, 20 champions and ready to go, and their extremely lacking experience says "Give me this role or I feed" because they got put into a role they wouldn't choose to play? Even if it is made for people to scrape the requirements and jump right into ranked, they probably should know how to play a couple different roles if only because every other queue would have the same kind of expectations. (unless you play blind exclusively while having the fastest computer ever made). This kind of trolling needs to be taken seriously, it doesn't do anyone any good.

Whoa hold on now. No it's not. It's meant for people who want to play the game competitively. Which is why people think you should be prepared for any role. And if a level 30 can't afford runes and champs to cover every role, he's probably not that good yet anyways and should not go into ranked.

the 3rd reason I quit and the free ruins make returning tempting but no good I got silver 5 with mundo jungle and while I'm amzing at it he cant carry shitty teams. id have to spend to much time grinding better jungles and better runes. so what? 1 year? 2 years? all so I can just have fun? this game has anti fun values in to many areas for new players

So because you can't carry with mundo, you'd have to grind with better junglers and better runes for 1 year or 2 years? And that's anti fun? Maybe you're just not that good? And grind what? DeathBurst1 votesThat's a bullshit reason: any Mage or any Tank makes an half-decent support if you actually try to fill the job instead of flaming/taking your lobby hostage, and when you start Ranked with 2 Rune Pages, you don't have anything as specific as a page per Role, you just have 2 generic AD/AP pages, which are perfectly good enough for Supports.)
Acausality1 votesIf riot wanted to do something about it, they would have to ban people for a lot less in the lower levels. They would need a 1 strike and you're out program for people with new accounts under level 30. Accounts level 30 and up would get treated normal. This would force people to behave.
