I thought players vs bots was to learn?

If players vs bots is to learn then it needs to be adjusted. I enter the beginner mode and what do I see?, 3 lvl 30 guys from a league. So the match starts and before I can reach lvl 6, the match is over. Yes, its a win, but I didn't have a chance to experiment with builds or try a new role or anything. There needs to be lvl requirements for these matches like, lvl 10 and below, then lvls 11-19, then 20-25 then 26-30. Idk, but it makes it very frustrating when these high lvl players enter player vs bots beginner mode and aren't instructing anyone, just showing off. It also wouldn't be that big of a deal if it only happened once in a while but I have put in around 8 hours of play today and so far, at least 1 lvl 30 in every single match, the highest lvl I have reached, in match, was lvl 11. Maybe they don't want people to learn or are just trolls, but if they are lvl 30, they should not be ruining the learning experience for people who are trying to figure things out. That's all, rant over for now.

well they could make it so players your level will be in queue while level 30's have their own sort of queue or they could make an MMR system for it

Honestly bots is only there for if you're trying a new champion, and only then if you are not good at playing champions you're not used to. Might as well just make a custom bots match so you have all the time you need.

The real learning is done in normal queue.

Maybe on beginner bots they could place a level restriction, but intermediate bots should remain just be an easy win of the day.

It's probably because you're at that level, or during that queue they were the only ones that riot could queue you up onto during that time. Also, bots under level 30 are mostly likely to be "farming bots" that aren't human players either. (tbh even I sometimes just join bots queue if I'm sick and tired of dealing with other people)

To get better at this game, I always played 1 v 5 against beginner bots and they help; you could normal queue as well since that'll match you up against similar levels. Try ARAM if you have time; I liked it a lot and gives you opportunity to try out a variety of items.

here is a solution not two solutions:

  1. go to customs, practice there the bots are just about as dumb
  2. keep playing player vs. bots you'll have your practice either way welcome to league of legends where shit happens

It is to learn/experiment/pve, it isn't to control the game so that it goes exactly how you want it.

The issue with a level restriction is that it would harm queue times.

If other players in a game bother you and you are wanting to control the game pace yourself, make a custom game. Then you can be against bots as well as hav bot teammates.

It's bots, pretty much any play style you want goes. There are specific things you can do in bot matches that force the bot to act in a certain way so you can just kill it over and over and over. It's not their fault it exists. If you truly want your own game try custom matches. Trust me... the last thing you want is RIOT messing with bots.

the real issue is [1st win of the day] that they cant get due to loss streaks in PvP, which probably accounts for at least 70% of all those lv30 players
