Better punishment for ranked afk and inters
I'm sick of going to a ranked, do my job and because one dude didn't get blue buff he leaves, this dude single handedly made us lose so... why should we all lose LP because of him? Well we shouldn't
New punishment : Make it simple, if a player leaves or feeds on purpose, he will lose LP equivalent to all his team mates so his team mates lose 0, while he loses a bunch (let's say that in a lost, all 5 would have lose 20, with this punishment, the afk player loses 20 x 5 = 100 while the other 4 lose 0)
To see if a player left or simply got DC (because a DC is not on a player control so I don't think he should get this heavily punished :/) it's easy to see, if they leave by clicking "quit game" that is easy coding right there to see whether or not a player DC or quieted, but I don't know if ya can do the same if they use task manager and kill the program, maybe, but if it is possible, that is the other way to see if they quit. The rest is simply force shut down PC or net but I don't see most players doing that and I highly doubt there exists a code to see if it was by player hand or not.
We talk about the punishment and we talk a bit of the coding, or suggesting of it as well as how players can "walk around it", it is time for the more delayed way, being a report. If he doesn't leave but afk in fountain, he will of course get a report, on the spot all players will lose their LP but once the report as been watched over and be deemed guilty, the punishment will kick in rewarding all those players with their lost LP while taking the equivalent to the reported player. Keep in mind this punishment is for afk and purposely feeding.
A tricky situation is if said player got demoted on that game or when they give the LP, they already got 100(these situations will occur when it's needed to report).... my way of fixing this is like this: <----- the normal team mates, not the punished one.
- If player got demoted that game(the one with the afk player), by the time the report is deemed guilty, one of two things can happen, you either give him the old rank back, or instantly put him on a promotion series.
- If a player already as 100 LP by the time they were suppose to get their lost ones, simply "store" them so when he doesn't have the 100 LP, he will get what ever he as "stored"
I believe this way players will think twice of doing these things and keeps the good and honest players from turning bad as well but also let's them feel like they didn't get punished because of a twat, after all, losing 20 LP is "meh" but losing 100 LP in a single game (with great risk of demotion) then.... shit gets real.
