1v9 Chat
I made the big mistake of not screenshotting this, but I was in a recent game where the enemy team had 5 smites, my first message during that game was "Watch objectives they might try to take them early cause of 5 smites" or somewhere really close to those lines. My second message was "??????" when I was completely ignored when being chased. My third message after they took first dragon and rift herald was "I told you guys." After that it was pure harassment from my whole team, which they didn't hesitate to take to /all chat. I didn't mute them because it honestly didn't matter to me what randoms had to say, but what went from 2 people mimicking me turned to my team, to EVERYONE in that game. Not everyone spammed comments, but they all did their part on making fun of me at some point, the game was prolongued JUST so they could "bother" me, which it obviously did end up doing otherwise I wouldn't be here complaining. I think my point here is how me turning against them could've probably resulted in a ban for me, who was basically the victim, maybe it wasn't right to type out the bunch of ?????s or the "I told you" as it might seem passive aggressive, but it doesn't compared to 9 people harassing one person over three messages for 35+ minutes.
I'm guessing there's people out there who are worse at dealing with these kinds of problems, whether it's 1 person or all 9, and the poor guy has to pay because other people are aggravating them? Mute them, sure, but there's so much harassment in so many games in League that at some point people are going to burst, it's evident, it even happens in real life, the "fat kid pushing around the scrawny kid who ends up arm throwing and knocking out the bully" video. Or the bullies who messed with the wrong kid who apparently had a few years of martial arts experience; I realize Riot is able to go back and read chats and do these kinds of things, but do they implement a "self defense" sort of thing at all? I can take randoms talking smack, but I have my limits, same as everyone else.
Edit: I'm no saint, but I've for sure have never asked someone else to join me on making someone else's life hell. If anyone's wondering, or if this incident is investigated at all, whether I'm reprimanded too or not, this was a Shen game with my score being 9/6/17. (Sorry don't know how to link games)
