Reports Are Bogus

You know some people are just bitter and overly sensitive.....players report you for almost anything leading to a system that bans players for being a little frustrated or upset....then BAM instant account ban. This game has a mute button if you dont want to hear someone just press it. Seems a lot more reasonable than banning people from literally bogus reports. I have been reported for (picking a bad champ, asking for a gank, and the list goes on and on and on). I hope riot reads this and realizes that banning accounts is not the answer

All reports do is flag your account for review. If the system doesn't find your behaviour ban-worthy, then you won't be punished.

In addition, there are four tiers to the punishment system. If you actually skipped directly to a permanent ban without hitting any of the other three, your behaviour must have been heinous.

If you were banned, submit a Support Ticket. Nobody here is going to take you at your word without chat logs.

Bogus reports are thrown out. If you're banned, you're banned for the valid reports and ignoring the chat restrictions.

If people have you use the mute button against you, you've already caused negative experience already and is not and excuse for you to be a jerk.
