Username «Twinkadelicious»
Hello everyone, I'm here to ask a question aboutmy username.
- Is using the word «twink» an offense in general?
First of all, I would like to point out that English is not my native tongue. I first started using the word «twink» when I was playing WoW. For those who don't know what a «twink» was in WoW, it was a character that you would lock at a certain level so you could play him in specific PvP brackets. You would then gear that character with the best gear to have an easier time in instanced PvP.
From then, I used the word «twink» in some account names or character names in different games. After a year playing this game on my main account, I wanted to level up a new account as a smurf but I didnt get to level it up to 30 because I tasted the power of the old runes, and, without them, I couldnt play my new account (this account).
So, the new rune system made me go play this account again. Today, someone was offended by my name and I didnt know why because I thought the word «twink» was exclusive to the WoW community. Is it this offensive? If so, Ill keep my blue essence for a name change.
