Just got banned for 14 days because of verbal abuse. First time I got banned for verbal in 4 years of playing this game (I admit I had my fair share of chat restrict xD)... Sometimes my language is not that nice, but man... look at this:

Sooo saying that someone did something "dumb" and tell him he is "bronze" is bannable (I said those things as a reply to his trash-talk) Things to keep in mind:

  1. That lee started to flame me from the first minute because I was playing tristana mid... And this continued the whole game (you know, the classic cancer wishing and other stuffs)
  2. He played indeed very poorly and the whole team (and even the enemy team) agreed with me (went to do random solo attempts to steal the enemy jungle and died multiple times, had very bad mechanics and poor map awarness... proof: he finished 1-9 in a 25 minute game) I know the circumstances doesn't really matter. Verbal abuse is verbal abuse, but I am human and I couldn't be any nicer with that kind of player in my team. Maybe he had a bad game. That's ok. We all have bad games and I have no problem with that. But he trash-talked the whole game and I am the one who get the ban. I know this is a cry post, but it just seems unfair... Now I know my lesson: mute the toxic players because otherwise I will be the one to get the ban.

ya .. its not about whether the chat is "so horrendous", its more about "is this chat punishable", and the answer is "yes".

So you'll work yourself up the punishment tiers every time you get punished.

  1. 10 game chat restrict
  2. 25 game chat restrict
  3. 14-day
  4. permaban

So your next punishment is a permaban, and even a little bit of toxicity will get you permaed.

Don't say you weren't warned.

Well, at least you learned in the end? In my opinion the ban was justified. Rather he's toxic or not doesn't give you an excuse to be. It seems as though you were intentionally tilting him the entire game. When someone flames for playing off META you just ignore them and prove them wrong so they shut their mouth.

It seems you know you were in the wrong and accept your ban, though you feel the lee should have banned as well. You have to take into consideration that lee was tilted and missing his abilities because of the things you were saying. regardless of what lee was saying to you it doesn't excuse toxicity. We're all guilty occasionally but where you've had chat restrictions I believe riot was justified.

You harassed and ridiculed your own teammate. There's no excuse for that.

And don't act like this is a normal human thing to do. If this guy was on your basketball team, or part of your project team at work or school, you wouldn't have taken it upon yourself to show make their life hell and show the world their mistakes. You did what you did because you were anonymous over the internet.
