Can someone explain to me why i got leavebusters and lost 18 lp for standing still for more than i minute because i had to do something even though we won the game?

Doesn't matter if you get a warning or not. Why does everyone have to be handheld in this world? YOU KNOW WHEN YOU QUEUE WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR. If you go afk, don't expect a lollipop when you get back.

I'd be concerned if he did expect candy to be ejected from his computer when he returns to it, for an entirely different reason. I'd love it if that were possible though.

Not sure on the actual timeframe that you have to be AFK for it to count, but it doesn't take long for a missing member to place your team at a large disadvantage in the match depending on what's happening at the time in the game.

2 players were afk and it was 1-10 my team winning so i just went to go do something, i didnt even get an afk warning. its like someone reported me

That's not at all how it works. Leaver buster is strictly on the mechanical side of things, not the player side of things. Meaning if you either left the game long enough for it to disconnect you, or if you deliberately exited out of the game long enough, you will get penalized for it. It's sort of impossible to deny this, since the system itself is automated to pick up on that kind of thing. If you believe it to be a bug, report it through the support system, but there's not much point in arguing this.

Whether or not your team wins or is winning doesn't play any significance in the detection system. And like I said, I don't know what the timeframe is for the AFK to count. It does sound weird if you were counted as a full leave without ever getting the warning.

Before you full afk'ed did you stay in relatively the same area for a while without doing anything? The little warning wont pop up in situations where the system believes you are afk in terms of not contributing at all to the game. For example, if a person just just constantly moving around the base but not actually helping is effectively afk while still avoiding the warning message.

What about in previous games, have you afk'ed for any amount of time in other recent games?

My duo partner DC'd in a ranked match last week, and in the time it took him to log back in, the enemy team pushed two turrets down.

League is an active game, and being present matters a lot, especially in ranked. Emergencies happen, but barring that, you should be glued to your keyboard. Don't order pizza and expect it to arrive mid-game, don't take a dump mid-game, if you live with your parents have your chores done before you queue up, etc.

I don't know anything about how AFK warnings are triggered. I also don't know how long you were truly AFK for, since all we're going off of is your version of events.

I DO know that voluntarily leaving the game put your team at a disadvantage, so it doesn't surprise me that the leaverbuster system penalized you for doing so.
