Need for new Player Report System

Hi I am a silver 3 player and after playing League today I realized something needed to change with inters. Dont get me wrong, judging from my name you guys prob think im not the perfect player or best behavior wise and tbh im not. I tilt a bit there to there but I fully think that League is doing well with toxic personalities. However, they are not really adressing trolling or inting as much as it needs to be. Today in my promo, I came across a player who was inting for literllay no reason. We didnt really tilt him at all or say anything, he just inted and we didnt know why. Anyways we end up losing the game even though all 3 other team players played very well. Anyways looking at this guys Op.gg hes inted a lot more than my games, ruining other players time. This is not the only person like this out there, ive had this happen many times while playing and something needs to change. Personally i suggest a new look into the report system, not putting all of the focus onto flamers, but trollers aswell.

Playing bad is not necessarily inting, and you cannot determine if someone was inting or not from looking at their op.gg profile (or match history, or anything).

You should also remove his name, the boards do not permit you to “call out” other players.

Except them putting all the focus onto flamers is what is leading to more trolls and inters. Players can't flame when frustrated, so they int/troll instead

The trouble with automatically detecting inting/trolling is it varies wildly. You could have someone doing their best at a Bronze level, but put them in a Diamond level game and they'd be accused of intentionally feeding (when the reality is terrible matchmaking). Even handing the task to people isn't a great solution, since many people call regular feeding intentional feeding. And the last thing Riot wants to do is ban someone who was actually trying to play the game.

That said, the more cut-and-dry intentional feeding cases have been getting banned a little bit more often lately, judging by the number of player behavior posts of people trying to get unbanned for running to their death under enemy towers multiple times.

inters do get punished just not as often. last week (or maybe two weeks ago) after i went mid lane where galio was he began to int after flaming and pinging me did not work. i had him muted. so he went 0/20 (1/4 of that being straight executions cause he was walking right to turret) and i reported him. after my next game i get a notice saying a player i reported was punished.
