There was a guy started to insult me in the game and I just tried to fight back , that guy told the other team to report me and then I got permanently banned , why ? I mean that guy started it , he insulted me , I didn't report him , he told everyone to report me and I got banned ? He should be the one who got banned. Can roit check what was really going on and then decided who should get the ban ? I mean it's just not fair , he started insulting me when I m trying to fight back I just get banned ? what the hell ? Now he is the one whose laughing ?what ? Please give me a feedback. I can't take this, it's not fair.

Short answer: Yes, the punishment is fair since you decided to fight fire with fire instead of just muting, reporting and moving on.

Long answer: The reason you got permabanned is because you already received a 14-day ban and/or at least 35-games worth of chat restrictions, but instead of shaping up you continued with the same kind of behavior that got you punished in the first place. Not only that but because you received a 14-day ban already the IFS assigned the next available punishment-a permaban in this case. Regardless of how other people act retaliation (aka the "they started it" excuse) is not accepted here. Next time just mute, report and move on rather than engaging in a flame war.

P.S. If that other person truly was behaving poorly then you should have reported him. By not reporting him you're telling the IFS that you saw nothing wrong with his behavior, and before you say that reporting doesn't work it does. After all, you got permabanned because of reports from others who didn't appreciate your poor behavior.

P.S.S. Post your chat logs here in their unedited entirely if you're truly looking to have a discussion about your punishment.

So why didn't YOU report him? Just mute and report.

Riot wants you to take a screenshot and mute any offenders, then report them after game. Responding to them in chat places your account in jeopardy.

I've come across many a troll attempting to bait me into saying something they can report me over. I just mute, screenshot the chat and report/ make a ticket and on to the next game.

There's no point in actually engaging with the randoms and their tilt/ stress issues. You'll only ever see them for that one game, then for all intents and purposes they cease to exist, melding back into the million player pool that is the league of legends base.

Don't try to rationalize with people either. This is a stressful game and you don't know the emotional state others are in. Don't assume they are able or willing to listen to reason.

Lastly the game is very fast paced. Nobody has time to hold debates. Mute whomever you need to and focus on the game/ mini map/ what you can do to help the team win.

I find it really hard to believe when you took time to post a different kind of "," and "?".

I've been perma banned around 5- times, I can personally attest each time the ban is more than fair 3 choices m8

  1. Shape up on a new account so you don't get banned

2 Don't give a crap go screw the system and make multiple accounts to dodge punishments

3 Cry complain and leave

This is their game therefore it's their rules don't like it? either follow the rules, or repeatedly get banned.

You do understand the concept of fanning the flames, no?
