Dodged 1 game = 30min penalty?

I had to dodge one game beacuse my own teammate banned my main champion and autofilled into wrong role. I literally only dodged once on this entire day and this happens. Wtf. How... why?

It doesn't reset every day. It adds up over time, and slowly gets lowered as you don't afk or dodge. This was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Because you do it regularly enough that the decay doesn't help enough.

while I don't agree with the 30 minute timer, if youre dodgeing games because your main got banned you need more than one champion you know how to play, and for your friend autofill has no wrong role, its autofill, now if he/she wasn't autofill protected that's different but they also weren't protected so

cause you dodged in the past and it adds up. next time you dodge it will probably give you 1-2h+ timer

Queue dodge has a daily reset, since it doesn't affect an in-progress game. 30 min wait is (I think) the longest tier for dodges and happens on the third or fourth dodge for that day.

IIRC it doesn't count towards LeaverBuster, but I could be wrong since it's been awhile since queue dodge penalties have come up in the boards.
