Tribunal System Question

I recently was banned for 14 days because I was very toxic and deserved it. I am doing my very best to be a more positive member of the community and have decided to stream so that I have to hold myself accountable for my words in game. Because of the stream, I now have evidence that supports my "I'm not being toxic" claims in the future. I was recently in a game with a 4 man premade, as the odd man out, and as the game progressed all of their mistakes became MY fault. This is typical. I only went into chat to apologize and reassure them that I was trying my best. They flamed me and I'm ASSUMING reported me afterwards. This leads to my question: BECAUSE I have video evidence that I literally ONLY said "I'm sorry" "I'm trying my best" and ONE instance of "I think we can still win if we work together" (trying to keep morale high), will the tribunal permanban me for my past toxic behavior (because it seems to be based off percentages), or will it look at the actual chat log? Sorry for the book. Please help!

Reports are not just assumed valid. The only thing reports do is trigger reviews of your behavior. Punishments are based on what you do, not how many times you are reported. False reports are thrown out and the value of the reporters future reports goes down.

You actually don't need to save evidence. All chat logs are saved (along with game data), and they will be checked to verify the reports. False ones will be thrown out and lower the report weight of those players' future reports.

Punishment is also calculated per match, not per report, so it doesn't matter how many people in a match report you; 1 is the same as 9. More of them won't make the system check your match any harder.

The system is designed to check chatlogs. If the reports are baseless, you won't be punished. HOWEVER You need to understand that after a 14-day ban, ANYTHING EVEN REMOTELY AGAINST THE RULES WILL RESULT IN A PERMA. This includes:

  1. Asking for reports (plz report XXXX for afk) - note this is unnecessary anyways as 1 report is the same as 9.
  2. passive-aggressive chat (Can't carry this XXXX // great job with that death, XXXX ))
  3. preemptive "GGs" (Saying GG because you think you've lost already)
  4. "GG EZ"
  5. anything that makes anyone in the game have a poor experience (your team, or the opponents) if you were smart, you'd /mute all for the next 9 months, minimum. And remember: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR HOW YOU REACT TO TROLLS/AFKS/FLAMERS. If you feed them, you deserve your ban.

No human "reviews" anything. The tribunal is completely in the hands of a machine that is "learning." And it's learning that everyone who says anything remotely negative is a toxic human worthy of punishment. At this point, it is literally dishing out 14 day bans to anyone who is toxic or responds back to toxicity in any manner other than complete silence/muting. In addition, any prior offense results in an automated permaban. Approximately 70 million players monthly, of which 0.2% get suspended. You do the math. It's not only cleaning up toxicity, it's cleaning up free speech altogether. But nobody at Riot cares about that, in fact, Riot is completely owned by Tencent now, a Chinese company. Behold the fascist era of eSports.

No human "reviews" anything.

100 % Not true !! People are wearing out this excuse, Real people look at real chat logs and use many other tools to determine certain punishments.

The only part of the system I can think of that is fully automated is LB and you don't need a human to tell you a person disconnect from the game.

I'm not bothering to reply to the rest of this rant.

there is no tribunal. the tribunal has not existed for over 2 years. there is only big brother lyte and his insanely stupid algorithms that automatically ban someone for random BS or complete blown of proportion issues. you probably wont be banned, but if you are it will be 30 days, and the 3rd will be permanent. be careful though, or you may end up like my former account where you're perma banned for "renekton i dont think that build is optimal" - gg lyte
