Has this ever happened to you?

wild friend request appears

Nami Hey! Have we played befo.. Yasuo GET YOUR BOOSTS TODAY FRESH AT WWW.THISISATRAP.COM! Yasuo BEST BOOSTS IN THE WOLD! Yasuo YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS! Yasuo DEFFINALY SECURE! Yasuo RIOT GAME APPROVED! Yasuo sooooo SAFE! omg WOW! Nami Oh no it's Yasuo :(

"Hi, ! 10% OFF on ALL orders at xxx-xxxxxxx.com ! DuoQ and Coaching are totally SAFE and approved by Riot! 24/7 Live Support, Come and Try Out!"

They Go by a very "professional" name lol-eloboosting, They run an FB and a very low in quality youtube page. I mean, How is this allowed? I did look at their website, They confidently state that by using IP changes and that their activity cannot be tracked. boooo!

This is the second time this month. I feel like my account has been targeted by evil Yasuo, Trying to lure me into his Yasuo ways. Luckily enough I'm a smart fish, therefore, I just kept swimming and pushed the un-friend and report button.

I don't recall visiting any web pages or adding my information anywhere that might lead for them to contact me, In fact, I AVOID anything that is not officially released by riot. What really grinds my gears is how they have might get my information?

I wish there was anything that can be done by us as a community, Or by Riot to stop this. Since the community grew so much over the past few years I am sure that this might affect honest players that just want to improve or this might frustrate players that are just starting, or worst convince someone to invest their hard earned money into this trap.

What do you think guys? Have you ever received this type of message? Ignore and unfriend or contact the LOLpolice?

they probably find people to contact by mining user data from sites like op.gg
