Is it fair for people to flame you and then when you fight back you get a suspension istead of them because of their reports? and they are didn't get anything And at some point i tried making peace but guess what they flamed me back, check out for yourself

Unfair suspension

You weren't suspended. You received a 10-game chat restriction.

Never got muted before, first time getting muted/banned i am not usually toxic

Just play off the 10-games, and take it as a warning. For a single light penalty, it's not all that hard to get your account back in good standing. The majority of players who get this type of penalty never receive another.

  1. Yes, it's fair. Even if it wasn't fair, life isn't fair and Riot is under no obligation to be fair.

  2. You have no way of knowing if the other players received punishment or not.

You repeatedly harassed the Jhin after he made mistakes or got caught.

That goes beyond self-defense and becomes retaliation.

Just because you were wronged first does not make it ok to be shitty to the wrongdoer.

Who are we to say that someone should have to learn self control, versus another person needing to learn to be less sensitive and stop allowing themselves to be hurt/affected by mere words from an anonymous angry person/troll on the internet, though?

The internet is a dangerous place...always has been, always will be, and it's futile for Riot to pretend otherwise in my honest opinion...they are flogging a dead horse trying to eradicate trolls/toxicity from an online competitive game- it's just never going to happen...especially when these people can go make another account so easily.

We love to tell these 'toxic' players that "life isn't fair," and to "just mute them," but that goes both ways. I can promise you that nobody in the real world is going to get thrown in prison for 'flaming' somebody...save some VERY extreme cases lol...this kind of punishment system is sending the wrong message to people. (again, in my opinion)

im sorta in the same situation, lv5 honored, never got suspension/ban ever in my 3 years of this game, this is my frist punishment ever, in a flex ranked game 3 players started to turn on me for no reason that i can understand, out of nowhere ezreal (OutSideLimits) starts to flame me in chat, caps and everything, at frist i ignore him like i always do in these cases, no point in giving attention to anopropriate behaviour right? , but then the guy starts to pull attention from the team to flame me "garen wants to lose" and such on and on, even though im pushing, roaming, helping, wining team fights, pinging for awereness, easy game easy life, whent 8-2-11 garen, at the end i was having fun laughing at what the guy was saying, so i joked "kys" after he said 3 funny lines, in an attempt to lighten up the mood (KYS - Stands for "Kill your self" a sarcastic term used amongst friends basically telling one another to shut the f**k up, when someone says something ignorant), in the end ppl were saying dumb stuff in chat, so i got into the fun cuz why not and said "idiots", for this i got reported and banned for 14days with reward restrictions, this so unfair more than 100euros invested in this acct more than a 1000 ranked games played, i play by the book all the time, i report any bad behaviour i see unfair to me and others, i filed a ticket to review my punishment, but i know nothing is going to happen.... do you guys think its fair? not even a warning? 1st time offence, even if its not justified? so disapointed in riot right now.... not one more cent

Also, let me make it abundantly clear to you: **lobbying for reports is not only against the rules, it's a wasre of time. 1=9. It only takes 1 report to flag a game for review and extra ones don't add any weight. **

Its fair that all involved parties get punishment. However not everyone will get equal punishment. Everyone is punished based on their behavior history.
