Can League please do something about the afks in ranked games

I just lost the past two games because one person in each game decided to go afk. The first went afk due to 2 other plays going mid and feeding before level 4. The second game I played another person went afk after he died once. I do not think anything was said during both games, so people decided to afk purely based off of their own failures. That effects the whole team which is made up of 4 other people. I do not think anyone would want an afk in their game especially after that said afk'er died to their laner or just did not want to play. Riot. can you please give out bans to people who afk in ranked games. I understand normal games have no purpose but to practice, but it's frustrating to go into a ranked game to get people who just straight up leave the game. There are times when people troll by feeding, instead of leaving, bu that is harder to discern whether they died on purpose or due to their own mistakes.
