Wrongfully Banned?

I am a toxic player (get salty easily) I will admit that. But, after receiving my 14 day ban, i changed. i was polite in chat and was not toxic anymore for the games that i played. But, when i get into games with trolls, i become somewhat angry as they make the game unhappy and negative for me and probably my teammates. Though a ticket has been sent before, i do not deserve this ban. maybe a large chat restriction if need be, such as the 80 game chat restriction placed on a streamer after being unbanned from a lifted permanent ban. In the game i was reported and banned from, i was polite and followed the summoners code. my teammates, though it may seem like "blaming," were in fact indirectly feeding the game. instead of playing the role, the reksai, viper0623, called, which was support, he decided to roam the entire game, take farm, and then die in lane. He was not intentially feeding when he died, but he was intentionally indirectly feeding: he knew that his adc, which was in a queue with him, was getting behind because of his roaming, but he did not care and continued to snowball enemy lanes. then, when i told was getting jg farm and happened to die to their now fed jinx because of lack of communication (no pings), the rek sai started his very toxic flaming on me. i dont understand why i would get banned when he tells me to "kill ur self" and "dont come bot again ur bad." After this, i didnt gank bot lane, as he asked, and continued to play. but, as the game progressed, i became more and more frustrated due to his neglegence of his lane and the negativity that now inhibited the chat box. He called me out on multiple occasions with curse words and slurs, while i, in fact, did not curse back or flame. He then, with his duo queue buddy, decided to start stealing my jg farm to stop me from getting sated, knowingly setting me behind to help the team. after finally becoming sated and helping with a slight comeback, he decides not to help in teamfights nor to help at all in general. instead of engaging or defending, he stayed back in fights to farm cs! i did call him out because while we were dying in vain he was last hitting minions 40 minutes in! when we try to group and push an objective, such as drag, he begins his flaming again. "now we get drag. but u say drag is useless. you bad" Ultimately, after attempting a comeback, we lost the game, no surprise. I then went to 1v1 him after reporting him for negativity, noxicity, and flaming in game. He constantly called me out in game for a 1v1 and was demanding that i do so, calling me names because i said no. Then, he continued to flame in the game lobby before the 1v1, refusing to because my friend was going to watch. i dont understand why i get a PERMANENT BAN for his actions just because i was reported by 2 people for a game that i did nothing in. He was intensely flaming and calling me names, yet he does not receive punishment. How is this fair? After attempting to change my behaviors in game this is what i meet. One day after my 14 day ban ended..... The level of his toxicity compared to mine was so significant that i dont understand why i am punished. i guess all that farming for lvl 30 before the ranked season started was for nothing. Bye League.

As of patch 5.18, which was in mid-September, punishments are given out in this order:

1.) 10 game chat restriction 2.) 25 game chat restriction 3.) 14 day ban 4.) Permanent ban

The way it works is once you receive one punishment, your next offense will give you the next highest tier of punishment, regardless of how "minor" your offense may have been. It is possible for Riot to escalate you straight to a 14 day or permanent ban, but Riot really only does this if they deem your case severe enough (including but not limited to things like homophobia, sexism, racism, or death threats, etc.). Also, it is possible to lower your punishment level by one tier if you go 3 months without receiving any punishments.

Now, because you had just gotten off of a 14 day ban, unless there was some mistake in which you just didn't receive a punishment period, the permanent ban is appropriate because it is the next punishment tier, and it will not be lifted.

Okay first, you are not punished for the actions of others, you are punished only for your actions. Also, getting multiple reports in a single game doesn't mean anything more than getting a single report; the system treats them equally. So 1 report is treated the same as 9 reports, they are both viewed as a single reported game. This is so that premade parties don't have too much power over solo players, and that solo players can still have their voice be heard in these situations.

Next, it doesn't matter what others are doing in game, their actions are not an excuse for your own poor behavior. Riot's stance has always been that retaliating against toxic behavior with your own toxic behavior is unacceptable. All this does is make the situation worse for everyone else in the game. If you truly believe that you didn't do anything wrong, it would be wise to post the chat logs that Riot sent you. That way we can know for sure, and give you some insight on what lead to the punishment if it was indeed deserved.

you can't really say if the ban was warranted or not for 2 reasons

you say what he did but did not say what you did and normaly if you submit a ticket you will recieve chat logs as i do not see them i don't know if you acted polite or not and secondly you're actions get you banned nothing else there is no excuse for flaming or "counter" flaming someone if you get sick and tired of hearing his voice there is a mute button don't react especially if you just had a 14 day ban that means you're on you're last breath

Paragraphs are fun and make your posts easy to read. (Look @ Zombiemaster's post...Fairly long but very easy to read)

I voted "yes" because I could only get thru the 1st few lines and the whole thing sounded like a rage.

Maybe I'd get a different "feel" if your post didn't look like one long run-on sentence.

I think I summarized this to the point of this. Someone who recently got off 14 day ban for toxicity decided to change his ways however he didn't say anything wrong in chat and his toxic troll teammates reported him and he was punished for trying to redeem himself this was how I read It but I maybe wrong

Your chat is pretty negative but I wouldn't consider it perma-ban worthy. I'd have reported you for Unsportsman though. There have been clearly unjustified bans before and Riot doesn't lift them.
