TL;DR - League cares more about compounding problems and making money than finding a real true solution

So this is how league of legends works ladies and gentlemen. You get picked with a team that is all together and have played hundreds of games of League of Legends and then they flame bait games. I do everything I can to work with my team, ping them, signal them, support them. And what do they do? Completely ignore me and do nothing to play this game aka teamwork and teamfighting. As soon as I say anything they all turn on me and then start spamming /all chat to turn the enemies on me because this is how people abuse the reporting system. Which Riot does a good job of hiding what all the other players say in these chat logs because, for example, if there was a line there that said "you have cancer" there would be 3 lines above that one that other players flamed me and said I had cancer first and merely said it to bait me saying it back to them in response that way they can all gang report me. This is the real problem with toxicity and flaming in this game. But it's no wonder this problem arises, so much time is spent on doing nothing but banning people and treating the chat system like nazis.

I had just got off of a 2 week suspension that I got for absolutely no reason, I said some bad words randomly for fun because everybody on both teams did then after the game somebody reports my entire team for something a teammate said and I end up getting suspended for the random bad word that I said to nobody in any kind of malicious way. But no, Riot cannot simply just restrict my chat or take away my chat, they have to just BAN my account. So tell me Riot, why do you have such a big problem trying to get new players into this game when all the low level matches are filled TO THE BRIM with players who are all banned from this dictatorship chat system. So then you have toxic lvl 5 smurfs running around making newcomers to this game frightened and afraid and quiting before they even get into the door. But hey, if Riot bans peoples accounts then they'll have to re-buy all those skins that they spent so much time and effort collecting all for Riot to snatch away instantly because you didn't conform to pretending to be nice everygame which includes flamers and trolls and people purposefully throwing ranked games and games in general.

It's funny how we care about taking ranked seriously but you could feed and troll and make people lose ranked games on purpose all day long and you will never get punished by says "GG EZ" one time and you're in BIG TROUBLE. Nothing this game does is in favor or effort of trying to help people prevent themselves and others from being toxic. The game offers only seriously restricted key-binding options so you cannot even unbind your ENTER key if you wanted to. "Well just mute them" Great point. Just mute and ignore everybody on your team every game. Amazing, except when you do that you are fundamentally denying the very principles that this game is founded upon. Which is teamwork and communication. But now, everybody is either so afraid to either 1. Get banned for saying ANYTHING in chat or 2. Getting flamed by toxic players. So what happens? Everybody just ignores each other? How are you supposed to play this game where teams just ignore each other every single game? That equates to zero logical sense.

Oh and by the way, about the email I'm supposed to receive about how you make up some excuse to ban my account and waste my time and money I still have not received. Which I don't expect anybody to care about at all because this is League of Ignore-all-the-problems-we-are-too-afraid-to-face instead of trying to implement actual systems into the game that works. Also, people have been literally complaining about your matchmaking system since season 1, you wonder why so much toxicity is created by your hidden elo system is horrid and you have every game with a mix of people who are trying to play the game and people who dont have any intention of doing anything serious and will possibly troll just to have fun.

so heres what you do now:

  1. start a new account
  2. buy an XP boost so you don't have to deal with the baddies and level up faster
  3. buy the champion pack so you don't have to be stuck with baddie champs in the free rotation
  4. buy RP to buy runes to stomp dem baddies again
  5. be toxic again
  6. be banned again
  7. come complain on the forums again
  8. ???

So when are you going to leave the game and stop complaining?

I don't understand why people just don't mute all. Like seriously, there would be a lot less toxicity in this community and way fewer QQ threads like this because there would be less acct/chat bans.

As I said before the matchmaking solo Queue is #### up. If you got reported by a 4 pre-made than that's your fault. I Believe i'm on the last strike depending on what reports were deem toxic. Riot only needs 3 reports that are consider toxic to put the hammer down on you.

This is a perfect example of Riot's possibly broken punishment system.

The OP was definitely toxic, no doubt about that. However, if 8/10 people are being toxic in a game can you really single out one person and say they deserved to be punished? I'm uncomfortable giving this player a permaban even after reading this. I would like to review what everyone in chat said and see how warranted this player's behavior may be. That being said, there are things this player said that should be punished regardless of what anyone else in game does.

This type of behavior should be punished no matter what. Permabanned? I wouldn't personally. I think a message explaining what exactly is "toxic" about this behavior and information about reform is necessary. Either a chat-restriction period (10-20 games) or a 3-day ban from summoner's rift/treeline would suffice. I would also implement a probation period where all reports, even automated, are manually reviewed and evaluated. This would be to ensure that no other toxic players somehow abuse the automated system to pick on anyone who is going through the reform process. Depending on how many/type of offense, I may also instate a quiz of some sort to better explain what is toxicity and what is good player behavior. This quiz would follow a short video, statement, some method of presenting information that hopefully explains Riot's thought process and punishment process in general.

All of this seems excessive, sure, but it seems much better than the current system if the goal is reform. If the goal is simply to remove toxic players then none of this conversation matters.

If you know they're a 4 man (I think that's what you're saying, that you got reported by your team mates?) then calling them a pussy team in caps will not help your case, doh. If they do report and see the chat, you just hung yourself. Best to endure, win or loss, what matters for you now I guess is to not get banned, so don't feed the trolls. This paste alone incriminates no one else but yourself. Yes the game is full of trolls but we can't do much but report and report.
