Reporting Someone for the first time ever

Hello, I have just experienced the worst case of toxicity in league every in my 5 years of playing this game. The gametag of this user is "<Removed By Moderation>" . We had previously played a game together where i had repeatedly asked him for a leash and he wouldn't comply, and therefore i did not gank him. He failed to hold his lane as top, and proceeded to blame me for his fault(s). I was constantly bashed with hatred and called "bad" many times and in many different ways. He had made it his soul priority to flame me for the rest of the game all the way to the very end. I can say this is the worst experience i've had in this game so far and i would like him to be dealt with.

Again his name is "<Removed By Moderation>"

PS: I was on my Alt account not this one

Hey there. I've edited the other player's names out of your post. I'm sorry you had to deal with someone like that, but we have rules here against naming or shaming, regardless if that person is guilty of something or not.

The proper ways to report players are either by using the in-game system or if you were unable to do so, submitting a ticket to Riot Support. As long as you've done one of these, there's nothing more you need to do. Keep in mind that you won't always receive feedback when you report another player, but this doesn't mean they've gone unpunished.

My first time posting on forum. Didn't know the rules but i understand now :) thank you. And i cant report a ticket because it just says "You must log in" and wont let me log in every time i click it. -_- . I've tried everything

It seems there's a bug that's messing with the transition from the League of Legends website (this one) to their support website (that one). The way to get around this is by signing out of this site and then logging in to their Support Website.

If you can't click the login button on the support site, try signing out of it as well before trying to sign back in. Just make sure you're already signed out of -this- site before doing so.

How's it shaming if you call someone out for being a prick / toxic player? Suddenly they're the victim? What a twisted world we live in.

I do get the "no naming" part though....if that were allowed we would probably have a buncha idiots making shit up about people and posting it on here.

You kind of answered your first part of your post with your second. We have no evidence that any of this happen, only one persons recollection of the incident. So for all we know it could be made up! Thats the whole point of that rule. And even if you have evidence (like a screenshot) its pretty easy to mock those up, so again would be hard to prove. Hence why this rule exist!

I get that, I didn't need your little explanation. Obviously I understand why the rule is in place, that was the whole point of the second part of my post. I wrote it since I knew a lot of people would make assumptions thinking I didn't get why the rule is in place.

What I was asking is why is it called "shaming" if the individual truly did these negative things? That's some soft ass shit. If there is proof i.e. screen shots or what have you, then who gives a shit? They broke rules and should be put on blast / punished for doing so.
