Quick Question

So I am a toxic player, I can admit that. I let my team mates know they are doing things wrong constantly in ranked and what they should do instead (In a mean manner I will admit) But is it really that easy for you guys not to say anything to team mates that literally play at Platinum+ elo like they just bought their accounts? Idk, I just find it hard to not say anything at all.

Basically what I'm asking is how do you guys keep your cool in games so I don't get permanently muted in-game.

For me it's easy. I want to win. Berating my team is completely counter productive to that goal(no matter how bad they are doing or how dumb whatever they are doing is). Even if the core advice is good, if you are a dick about it no one is going to listen to it because it isn't coming from someone they perceive as trying to help, its just some asshole being an asshole.

Be leader not an anchor dragging your team down.

I will answer you in the way you are used to talking to people:

How about you stfu instead and worry about your play, scrub?

I can get frustrated and can be a bit rude, nothing to get banned over and not excessively. Noting happens when you are rude to a player, they don't learn anything and will respond with rudeness anyways, in fact sometimes it makes them laugh knowing that you are upset. I don't recommend being toxic, but if you want to my favorite thing to say is "(champion name) LCS 2016" [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

I've made a pact with myself not to type condemning things in chat. I'll do things IRL like vocally say "wtf" or some other sailor talk, but I will never type it in chat. I always try to rephrase "omg stupid going into their jungle alone" to something more productive like "Tell me next time you want to go ward so we can do it together so you aren't alone. :)"

Smileys help diffuse the internal screaming I have about frustrating people or events.

I'm playing a game, and I'll try to get as much entertainment as I can out of any situation. If things turn bad to the point where there's nothing I can get out of it like your case, minimize the casualty/suffering. Do what I can and focus on my game. If I win, woot I've turned the table around and now I'm climbing. If I lost, woot I'm gonna be playing against players with lower mmr than my previous opponents and my life'll be easier.

tl;dr yolo

Thanks, Tbh I feel I play better being chat restricted anyways. I literally have to focus on the game and when I do type it's only productive since I know I'm limited.

I had the most tilting shit yesterday..we were winning, 13 k gold:)..we were fcking around, we took everything from them including nexus towers.anyway, we 5 vs 5, we win, almost ace and my team has 4 members up, with almost full HP( i was dead). Anyway, they fck up so hard, that the yasuo gets a quadra:|..that was the most tilting game i'v had in a while. managed to lose a win game.

I gt salty sometimes, but i don;t insult them bcs i don't wnat to get chat restricted or something like that.
