if my account got chat restriction would that mean i would not get my plat border like how some people were gold but got silver border?

They haven't announced season rewards yet, but if I were to use what they used last season's rules; where if you were free & clear of punishment by the time the season has ended, you'd get your rewards.
Punishment tiers drop every 3 months, providing if you don't get punished again. Which means, you most likely will get season rewards unless you get yourself punished again.
