I'm really tired of trying to do my best for the team failing because 1-2 ppl decided not to care and then reading this mantra because I either asked for help or suggested X to do Y.

I'm not trying to say that ppl should take normal as ranked, but at least try to pur some effort for the sakes of the other 4 ppl playing with you in a game where the objective is to win against the enemy team, no matter if ranked or normal. most of ppl using this phrase are just trying a cheap scapegoat instead of keeping a chill attitude while either saying "ok" or "sorry, I've messed up" or whatever similar. I do it, because I know that my fail will hinder my team. Another use ppl make of "it's just normal" and its variation is as a tool to make ppl tilt, using this passive aggressive attitude to try the patience of the other guy/gal making him/her prone to the use of not-so-chill replies which would be reported as flaming.

Completely Agree, It's the most negative thing said in the game outside of hate speech.

Never have I seen it used in a positive context and I don't believe there is one. It's essentially saying "I gave up on this game, fuck off". Nothing good has ever come from saying it and has been primarily used to insult people trying to help a struggling game.

I think this phrase can have a lot of different meanings. In normals people like to try new stuff, off-role champions, wierd builds and challanges such as Ultimate Bravery. This is what normals are for. You are supposed to be able to do stuff you don't normaly do, play things you don't normaly play. "It's just a normal" is a short way of explaining why they play what they play and how they play it. In normals you have to have even more patience than in ranked because you will encounter wierd stuff, unorthodox plays and so on. Just keep that in mind :)

Yeah, all assassins got reworked, you're going to see all elo's of people feed as they relearn what champs can and can't do at certain points in the game. For example, I intentionally gave a Talon 3 kills as Yi in first 3 min, so that I can see how hard He snowballs/carries. Turns out, a 1500 gold lead on Talon is worthless now. I ended the game with a 2.0 KDA at 18+ Kills. Particularly I myself am more curious into what all my old assassins can do from behind. So far, Talon is the only one that's straight fucking garbage.

i dunno, they can say w/e, nobody likes to lose so people usually try to win, sometimes they fail and say it's only normal to comfort themselves

if the team comp looks very bad (like shyv supp + lulu adc that i saw yesterday) i simply dodge and wait for 6 minutes... for 15 minutes at worst
