A Wild Ride
Just played a pretty crazy match. In the pregame lobby the ADC immediately went on a tangent laying out "ground rules" like no feeding play safe ect. I was support as I usually am. I was going to go
but the other team picked a
which I assumed (and was correct) was support so I went with
as I have had a lot of luck with him to deal with
support (that E helps chase her down even when she tries to stay far back, often ends up bouncing between her and the adc as they try to run back). As soon as I lock Fiddle the ADC declares they are going to feed because they didn't like my choice. Game starts and our ADC (
) goes straight into the enemy team and dies without a fight. She does this over and over despite our team asking her to not do that. She even tells the enemy team on all chat that she is going to int feed because fiddle support. Both teams tell her its not a troll pick but she just keeps feeding.
Now the good part. I ditch the
for a
as I was in a 2v1 lane. Got a kill or two playing safe. The rest of my team goes into overdrive and were doing great. The enemy jungler (
) for the most part left my lane alone to try to make it a bit more fair. This Lee had a great attitude. For the most part, he didn't kill the MF, he ran from her to not take the cheap kill. That was a pleasant shock to say the least (just wish the Draven would have done the same lol). The MF would sometimes get a kill based off autoing a low enemy we were fighting (just a KS) but continued to feed and rant about how it was our fault she was feeding and was teaching us a lesson. We ended up winning. Instead of falling apart and raging, the team came together and turned the game around.
The lesson I got from that match is if you have a troll, focus on what you can do, rather than what the troll is doing. I know you can't turn around every game that has a troll, but it's worth the effort to at least try.
