Hear me out, This guy locks in Nunu mid and immediately says " I'm running it down mid " our adc hovers over Ezreal, and nunu bans Ezreal.

Ezreal bans nunu, so nunu picks singed mid with cleanse and ghost. he says he is going to intentionally throw the game and run it down mid.

I say to my team, can anyone dodge because I'm in promos and it will really hurt me if I dodge. They won't.

I try to be reasonable and say.. You would rather lose 20(ish)? LP instead of 3 for dodging? They say yes.

I don't understand

Can someone ban this Nunu or something. This isn't acceptable behavior. Can Riot see the lobby chat pre game?

Yes I'm upset. It was 100% a loss. I had to dodge promos.

Nobody forced you to dodge. While their negative attitude may very well count against their account, they have not actually trolled until the game starts, which you prevented from happening by dodging.

Riot does not take "I thought they were going to troll" as an excuse for dodging.

You should have just played it OP. Even if you lost inevitably, you could have reported the trolls so no one else has to play with them. That's the thing people don't get with trolls: if you dodge them, you're just shoving them off onto someone else. But if you play with them and report them, eventually they will get punished and no one will have to deal with them.

It was not 100% a loss until you dodged. What if the other team had a troll on it too? What if this guy was kidding and he was actually going to carry? What if they had an AFK? What if you just happened to have a much better game than your laner and can carry? You don't actually know how the game will play out until the nexus falls. That's one of the cool things about competitive gaming.

Wait... why dodge? If you're in a promo, a dodge counts as a loss. If you were going to lose anyway due to the Nunu/Singed running down mid and suffer the same penalty as dodging, why not go through with the game? That way, someone else might dodge, or the Nunu/Singed might have been bluffing (they do that a LOT).

At the very least, you'd get to report him after the game and he'd be almost guaranteed banned.

Overall, that sucks, but going through with it would probably just waste twenty minutes at the worst (not that much time) when your team FFs (assuming he actually inted; like I said, it could have been a bluff). Then he'd get banned. By dodging, you reduce your chances of winning from 1-10% to 0%.

If you didn't wait until the game started, someone else might have dodged. It's a tactic people try.
