Why has Riot done nothing about trolls

Dear Riot, I'm trying to be a reformed player. You've given me multiple suspensions/chat restrictions for speaking my mind to my teammates so im doing my best to avoid any further bans but you're not making this very easy. Why do you punish players who call the bs on teammates for wasting at least 20 mins of my life just to troll my games? This is just a ridiculous system you have in place. It is impossible for me to ever get out of honor level 1 now that i have been reset. My teammates are literally trolling my games. And if i say a single word about it i get reported and banned? Fix this terrible system of matching me with terrible players, yes I am a lower rank than most of the player-base but this is still unacceptable. I don't want to play ranked just for someone to take the game seriously because apparently "its just a norm" is a valid excuse to waste 20 mins of my life each game. I don't have alot of time to sit around and play league of legends all day until i stumble upon a decent lobby, so when i queue up for a game i expect not to regret it each time due to teammates I can do nothing about

It is absolutely possible to point out team members that are trolling without being toxic, .. but that isn't even necessary.

Do you believe a player that is intent on trolling is going to stop because you called them out? No, probably not.

It also isn't necessary to make sure that your teammates or the enemy team is made aware that they are trolling. They will most likely see it for themselves. It doesn't matter if they report it or not. All you need to do is report it yourself. That alone puts all of the weight possible on the system that is in place.

So then why do you feel like you need to say something?.. I am pretty sure I know why. You want to be sure that none of the blame falls on you. That isn't a constructive mindset.

I'll put it this way, if you are saying anything that is not constructive in chat,.. you probably don't need to say anything at all, especially if you are trying to reform.

Considering the spattering of board and reddit posts that I see about people complaining that they've been banned for trolling / feeding... Not sure what you mean here. Is it because you haven't seen it yourself? Isn't that like saying "I know thieves exist... why aren't the cops doing anything about thieves?!" They'll exist. They're just harder to detect.

Then again, if that is your view on the game and how you base your enjoyment of the game, perhaps you should find a different style game that your enjoyment isn't determined by 4 other random people playing how you want them to play. If someone playing off meta, or a non standard build is 'trolling', and thus 'wastes 20 minutes of your life', perhaps you should have a passtime that isn't so fragile... Especially since you said you do'nt want to be matched with terrible players, yet you're in the category of bad skilled players (I assume low silver / bronze like me)

Maybe.... those players aren't trolls? They can be just bad at the game, making their actions look trolly.

a troll troll to get a reaction, dont give them one.

putting that aside trolls are harder to catch due to the cheer fact they act as off meta as they can or act as bad as possible as someone who have a bad game and tbh ppl call troll on ppl who are in fact just had a bad game or is just learning new champs in blind.

riot dont want to hit innocents at all.

flaming in the other hand is 99% easier to catch and thees no reason to flame other then venting out which can be done by screaming on the screen.
