Is calling for bans, bannable?

So i went into a normal game, people instalocked mid, and it was chaos, so i dodged. The next game i jumped into i picked jungle as normal, then there was a bot pre, top, and then a kindred player instalocked ADC, i didnt want to wait the 15 mins, so i didnt dodge, but someone else did for me. the game after that the kindred player was on the enemy team, so i decided to ask people to report him for instalocking. Then they turned on me, because she did really well, while i fed. (that is just how it goes, sometimes you carry your team, sometimes you feed) They wanted to report me, for asking for a report on kindred. Is asking for a ban on a player illegeal?

There's no point asking for reports. Your report alone is enough to flag the game for review. Due to it having no effect other than to make others defensive or angry, asking for reports is considered harassment, and can be punished.

it's definitely negative behavior, but this alone banable? probably not. but it's reportable.

see it this way, would you like it if people randomly said in all chat: report "you", and so people may report you for no reason. if people want to report you, they will report you based on their evidence.

I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think it's bannable behavior. However, I believe calling for bans amidst other flame (not saying you had other flame) is considered toxic, and I believe it actually de-values reports that stem from it.

That being said, I don't really have any prior experience with the Tribunal system--so somebody more knowledgeable may come along and tell you I'm completely wrong. From what I've read I think that's how it works, though.

asking for a report is reportable according to every moderator, rioter, and arbiter ive seen talk about it

Instalocking is not against rules. Reportcalling is. So yes, they could get you punished, as Kindred didnt do anything wrong and u were negative to her.
