Today i got a 14 day suspension because I was pissed off I had a support that would consistently leave me; Apparently I have unsportsmanlike-like conduct for the first time in 7 years.
If this is your first punishment ever, then that means you would've had to be extremely toxic, or have used hate speech or encouragements of self-harm. Most chat-related offenses get a 10-game chat restriction as the first tier of punishment, so for you to have gotten a 14-day ban means you had to have been especially awful.
If you provide the chat logs that were presented to you, we could see what (if anything) could have triggered the escalated punishment.
That tells me one of two things. That 2 people can get you suspended in a single game, or that people with friends at riot can ban you out flat.
Both of these possibilities are wrong. I'm 90% that the majority of the playerbase is of no friendly disposition with Riot (and even then, Riot wouldn't manually ban someone just because a friend said that a person was misbehaving), and two reports have exactly the same weight as one report. Moreover, any report past the first is disregarded.
You got punished because at least one person reported you, and the IFS found you broke the rules. It's not "some guy was butt-buddies with Riot", it's not "I got 9x'ed/2x'ed/mass-reported" - you broke the rules, you got reported, you got punished.
