I've decided to quit league ,thanks to the permanent ban.Why would anyone ban for trash talking ?Thats the point of this game. I can understand if you get banned for picking malphite adc ,going afk ,intentionaly feeding ,but flaming a total retard .What is this game ? Trash talking is the one of the most funniest things in this game.I spent alot on this game and now im getting banned for toxicity?The turret range is awfull ,the ranked system is trash and the "balanced" champs like brand are not fun to play against . Hope you overlook the bannign system Riot With Respect -DrakonoŠikna

Even in pro sports trash talking has its limits, and when taken too far can result in punishments ranging from fines to suspensions to even bans. The reason flaming is punishable is because not only does it solve nothing and is not needed in any situation ever, but it also just distracts from the actual game as a whole, as instead of playing the game you're spending that time typing up things like insults and harassment, which is not what the chat system was intended to be used for. You don't have to be 100% positive all the time, you just can't act like a jerk whenever things go south.

Also, since you mentioned dunkey it's important to remember that he wasn't being truthful in his video about being banned (this from Lyte just fyi), so already that's a major red flag in your argument there.

BTW, I'm pretty sure LoL has never had a slogan of "Play League, Flame your Teammates"
