yesterday I was banned from the forums after I tried to post a missplay of myself. However, the system thought I want to blame people due to specific text segments. If this can happen in the forums, this can also happen in the actuall game. I made a video to document this false positive ban. What do you guys think about that?
forums are being modded by a 3rd party company that riot hires, not riot themselves.
Also, a forum ban is not an ingame ban. But if it is serious enough, then it can splash into your ingame account.
also, what you were doing can be seen as name shaming on the forums, which was why your posts were removed in the first place. What you need to do in the future is to black out the names in your video.
Then you are just reposting things, which is spamming.
So far nothing wrong with what they did.
This wouldn't be a way to get people to click on your video, now would it? I'm sure you'd never stoop to something so dishonest and despicable.
What you did is textbook naming and shaming...Black out the names of people in your videos/screenshots ( you don't have to on older content, but check with support on how old is acceptable ).

I mean, if anything, this seems like self promoting on the League forums. I know things like that get banned from Reddit all the time.
The forums are moderated by a company called: Metaverse Mod Squad

I looked into your removal and it does indeed seem to have been done in error. This was our mistake and we apologize.
I would end your suspension, but it's already over at this point as it was only a 1 day suspension. Sorry for the bad timing as you posted this on my days off and I'm currently the only visible Moderator in NA.
In that regard, I would like to affirm what Deep Terror Nami stated: we are human mods reviewing posts as they come in and removing some based on the guidelines set forth for us. We do occasionally remove things incorrectly and we always take feedback on that and rectify the situation as best we can when it happens. There is no automated system in place for post removal on the NA Boards.
Again, we're sorry for the inconvenience and you're welcome to create a new post for your video. However, it is more appropriate for the Concepts & Creations section as that is where people can post general clips of their in-game highlights. The Gameplay section is more appropriate for actual discussion of balance, matchmaking, ranked play, the rewards crafting system, and tips for getting better at the game.
