I think we can safely assume that is not intentional and this individual just struggles to hit the right keys.
Well, let's break that assumption down, shall we? For starters, the only word that they spelled incorrectly that wasn't hate speech was "ve", which I can only assume was supposed to be "be".
Now, I don't know what keyboard layouts are standard in EUW, but, let's just go through a good handful of them.
And, of course, for point of reference, I'm gonna provide visual aides, since before looking this up, all I knew was the QWERTY layout.
I'm just going to focus on alphabetical characters (with some small exceptions), though, for obvious reason.
QWERTY
Q W E R T Y U I O P
A S D F G H J K L
Z X C V B N M , .
So, if they were just using QWERTY, "aw" wouldn't make sense unless their middle finger had a muscle spasm and hit "w" before they hit "g", and you can't convince me they'd accidentally hit "ay" when they want to type "i".
DVORAK
' , . P Y F G C R L
A O E U I D H T N S
Q J K X B M W V Z
COLEMAK
Q W F P G J L U Y
A R S T D H N E I O
Z X C V B K M , .
Workman
Q D R W B J F U P
A S H T G Y N E O I
Z X M C V K L , .
Hmm...I'm starting to notice a theme. "A" and "Y" seem to be a fair distance away from "I", and COLEMAK seems to be the only one where you might slip and make "aw".
But, just for the sake of argument, let's look at three more.
QWPR
Q W P R F Y U K L
A S D T G H N I O E
Z X C V B J M , .
JCUKEN
J C U K E N G { } Z H
F Y W A P R O L D V
Q - S M I T X B
Neo
X V L C W K H G F Q ß
U I A E O S N R T D Y
Ü Ö Ä P Z B M , . J
Now, while QWPR (like QWERTY and COLEMAK) has the rare, off-chance of hitting "aw" instead of just "a", in every other layout, it'd take a concerted effort to hit "ay" instead of "i".
Add onto that that, again, there were very few mispellings, and they even spelled the hate speech right other times in the log, clearly - to call it "doubtful" that the OP mistyped and didn't try to work around the hate speech filter is an understatement. It's clear as day.
You may safely assume that it wasn't intentional, but there is so much evidence to the contrary that you couldn't even begin to offer a plausible defense on their behalf.
They didn't struggle to hit the keys any other time but one, and even if we did discount the possibility of them trying to work around the filter, there's still plenty there to punish them for, so no matter which way you cut it, this was a more-than-deserved punishment.
