No in game warnings, no muted games, no ranked restriction, no 3 day/2week ban. Just perma banned. Seems a little drastic. Opinions?

Using any form of slur - racial, sexual, whatever - in a negative context is inherently in the context of it being a slur against that group. Insulting someone by using a homophobic slur indicates that they are homosexual, and that a homosexual is a bad thing to be. The same goes for any other slur against any other group.
The only time this isn't true is when you're discussing the words themselves.

dunkeroni1 votesDepends on how many people report you in each of those games. If enough of them do it in one burst, the ban is likely to be carried out just as quickly without prior warnings.

Chat restrictions are for minor offenses. Hate speech is major offense. People can even lose their jobs nowadays for hate speech. Its a worst possible toxicity.

My apologies, I was unclear about that. The "zero-tolerance" policy refers only to hate speech (racial/homophobic slurs, etc) and death threats, which are grounds for massive escalation up the scale.
Also, they don't really do 3-day bans anymore - not since the Tribunal was taken down.

I'm not certain if I've gotten chat restricts since then, but for sure in the last month I haven't been chat restricted, haven't received bans of any kind, haven't been put into the low priority queue. It's supposed to work in order, no? And after awhile of not being punished aka chat restriction, low priority queue, additional suspensions etc. I thought your "toxicity score" goes down.

Of course, in very severe cases, you can skip over the chat restrictions and go straight to a 14 day/permanent ban.
Now, you say that you got a 14 day ban on October 11th, which would mean that your next punishment, which is this one, would be a permanent ban, and it turns out that it is. So to me, this seems like it's working as intended.
As for lowering your "toxicity score," yes, going for a while without any infractions will lower it to a less severe punishment. However, I believe that the time frame for this is 3 months (this is what I've read from other threads, if someone actually knows, please correct me). Since your last punishment was less than 3 months ago, you haven't lowered your "toxicity score" at all, so you received the next punishment on the ladder, a permanent ban.

Lew3 votesA 2 week suspension means the account was at the final tier of punishment and any continued negative behavior would get you a permaban. It also takes more than just a month for your account's standing to improve based on what I've read.

That's less than 2 months and you haven't played many games inbetween. You decided to be toxic when you were already on your last warning I'm not sure what you expected. Permanent ban is what comes next and you were pretty toxic in the game you posted a link of.

That's barely 2 months ago.
You need to have no offenses for like 5-6 months to lower your ''ban level'' by 1.
PIMPSMOOTH2 votes14 day ban is the last straw before Rito hands out the perm bans. You racked up enough reports after the 14 day ban to trigger the audit of your account whether it be 1 or 20 reports from players. Clearly, you learned nothing from the prior bans and warnings.

You really do desrve this man sorry but you were SERIOUSLY toxic in that game, despite how muc h I hate "toxic" as a term. And this was after taking a 17-day break? hooollly shit! what must you be like when you're on a lsoing streak?
