Boosting (cheating)

So, season is ending and i've been encountering a lot of (more or less sure) boosters. I know that Riot doesn't seem to mind having multiple accounts (I do own multiple in different servers etc and would love if the client would make it easier to change between them.. but that's not the point here now).

But boosting. Paying someone to play your account to higher you ever could with your own muscles? It's toxic in every way possible. It's misleading for the booster's teammates (allthough they most likely enjoy the free elo), For enemy it's pure cancer, no matter how play you well it's not enough if you're against challengerish or even higher diamond (being bronze - plat yourself). For the <rude word here> manbearpig who pays for the boost, oh well, he either never touches ranked after the boost or he'll ruin the next 100 games for his, and kinda enemys team, although they once again welcome the free elo having most likely had many boosters against them before also...

I can somewhat at least understand that some poor fellow would be willing to pay someone to play his account to gold for the end season rewards, but still is this something supported by Riot? Because it sure seems like it. I tried to find an easier way to report these guys I've encountered which leave 0% room for doubt that they are boosters. (2 seasons in bronze etc., suddenly owning silver with 100% win for more than a week in a row.. does it get more obvious? Probably had to won a 3 vs 5 with the amount of afkers these days..)

But that's not the real point. Why is Riot allowing(supporting?) this? There isn't even option in the post game report system for this (which I have 0 trust in.. pretty sure they go straight down the drain, unless you're streamer/pro). The best success I've heard that there are some streamer you could throw your evidence and they can get the booster/cheaters banned.. and that is kind of the point of this post.

What is the most effective method to report a booster in your experience? The client doesn't have any, couldn't find any scouring hastily the website/support things.. why should it even be hard in the first place? Perhaps that you wouldn't take the effort.. ? Well I've abandoned the quest for reporting booster many times before just because of this, but frustration can only build so far. So today I felt like I'd really, really take a peek is there a way to get boosters and such properly reported.

Got most obvious op.gg screenshots, the game chat would be telling if someone would be able to read it etc. and this of course is just one of many occasions along the line. Or is this really just accepted and supported by Riot? From what I've seen I really can't exclude that either.

Well, whatever the case, I just would love to hear the official stance on this.. or is it just "report with negative attitude" and it'll go down the same unread drain as everything else? (read: "gg ez":es)

Banterish, but a real issue and a real question. Really hope that you guys don't just delete this without answering it..

Riot doesn't look at match history and win loss rate to determine boosting. They look at internal data such as login locations and characteristics, gameplay patterns, etc.

Uh playing on another persons account is most definitely grounds for immediate perma ban on that account.

Boosting has a 14-day suspension, in addition to forfeiture of any ranked rewards (For both the person boosting and person boosted).

Riot also knows that people tend to boost at the end of a season, and they step up their detection game at the same time. So around the time when ranked rewards are being distributed, you'll start seeing a whole lot of people complaining about their "14 day ban for no reason".
