Riot "Missions"
With the start of the new season riot made new missions for us. That's great, allows for more blue essence, exp, good stuff. Here's the thing though, I didn't realize how awful these missions were in hindsight, in particular the 2nd half the of the journey missions where you have to play 9 ranked games (this is to finish your placements, because the first half of the missions has you play one). Cool, have players kick off the ranked season with a bang, but then people who don't play ranked (for whatever reason) come out of the woods and basically shit on not only other peoples' placements, but others who are trying to start the grind and climb early. I just had a game with an awful katarina, who was basically inting, when asked why she was just not doing anything she stated that she was doing it "only for the mission" and that she "doesn't play ranked". It's fine to create missions to create ranked like this, but the way it was done was just poor. At least make it for wins, or kills, or anything to encourage players to play well and actually try somewhat in ranked. idk, maybe im complaining for no reason but to me the mission motivates bad mission mix
