Timers for missing picks

Ok, so i am guilty of missing picks or bans just like everyone else, and i get that there should be a punishment for missing them. A five minute wait timer is fine, i wont do it again i promise. BUT i did it anyway, about 3 hours later (that grind though) i was looking on reddit waiting for the prompt to pick or ban... which never happened, Instead i ended up missing it. This resulted in A 30 MINUTE WAIT TIME. Riot, i like your game i really do, but this is atrocious, i could understand maybe adding another five minutes to the wait time, but going from 5 to 30 is a big no no. See the thing is, ill miss it again at some point, we all do, and unless you make it to where the game pops up for picks and bans, we are all going to miss it at some point, but there is no reason at all, that the wait should ever be 30 minutes. This is a major problem in my opinion. All im saying is that if you are going to punish us harder for missing the pick or ban , then if i were to afk in a game (which is a 20 minute wait timer max), then there is something wrong. Maybe lessen the time? Ya know 15 minutes is reasonable i guess... but 30? no.
