Perma banned for 3rd party software

This is actually for a friend and not myself so I'm not sure how much can be done but I am certain he has never used any 3rd party apps that interfere in any way with LoL. He submitted a ticket in an attempt to get his case reviewed but that came to nothing and my friend feels nothing else can be done. I'm hoping there can be because League is one of the few ways I am able to socialize with some of my friends that have moved away. We do use discord to chat while playing but to my knowledge that is fine. My friend's summoner name is Liadrynn and if i get a response I'm sure he would be willing to speak for himself.

We have played league for sometime now and have both spent a considerable amount of money. Neither of us are very good, generally always in bronze or silver. Hardly what you would expect from someone exploiting the game. We are just friends playing to have fun and keep in touch. We couldn't care less whether we win or lose. I know he isn't scripting or hacking because I know the dude behind the screen. He is content with just letting it go and moving on from League but I'd hope it could be resolved so that we can continue to be terrible.

Just to be absolutely clear, he doesn't use any 3rd party software that would change, interfere or enhance league of legends or the files. That includes simple cosmetic changes like custom skins or voice packs.
